You are very, very mistaken.
No Im not. If i can find the Orig FAQ. Its said Will I beable to become a jedi and it stated NO! Then I got a Email with the Poll. Dont go by post count there Skippy. my Orig Acct was canceld. And I am real close to canceling this one. Unless they fix this Mess they call a game.
I didn't say a single thing about post count, skippy.
And you're very wrong. Jedi have been a part of the plan since before Beta. So you when you bought this game, Jedi were going to be in it.
Ok i guess your a Dev and Know of the conspiracy behind it then. because when I bought it the FAQ clearly stated NO! Im not gonna debate you on this as we boath know its a Evolving game yadda yadda. But the FAQ clearly stated NO and it was marketed as such in the begining. And you know im Rite on that.
If you're correct, it should be simple enough for you to prove it.
Caught me in edit. they took down the Old FAQ on Lucas Arts where it was. So we pretty much have to conclude One of us is Rite. I know I am and you know you are so we come to a Stalemate on this.
But really its No real point. They are in game its Endgame prof. And the Game will go total Jedi Dark Lite wars soon enough.

Normally, I avoid posting here. This, however caught my attention. First off, well done! I thought it was good entertainment...and only a half-truth. Not all jedi afk...in fact, most don't. I have only seen 3 people afk, and I had 2 of them killed. The third was warned. I have been grinding my padawan since November 2004, and I have done it without the use of exploits. I have never run from a BH, and have been the target of more than one gank squad. I try and lose with honor, and always am respectful when I win.
I have lost more than 1.3 million xp over the course of the grind due to BH's and Mobs..and I make roughly 300k - 700k a night now, with the group grinds. The xp sux. I know people are making more than me, but i also know that there are plenty that make less than I do.
Point is that I would like you know that most jedi work for their templates...and if you kill an afk jedi, you are doing us a favor.

QFE
There are alot of AFKers out there, but not near as many as what some jedi-haters would have you believe.
And I really don't understand those people. They say "You knew the grind was gonna be hard, if you don't like it play KOTOR" and yet complain about all the Jedi.
Sooo..."You knew there were gonna be jedi, if you don't like it, play WOW"
Sheesh.

You're confuse, but I can help you.Exhibit One: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=jedi&message.id=538 dated 7-2-03Quote: There is currently no clear, concise, or even convoluted forumla for unlocking the FS slot, namely because no one knows if it's been done. The devs said it did not happen in the beta, and I think we can reasonably assume it hasn't happened in live. Even if there were a known formula, it is not guaranteed to work for your character as the developers claim that everyone's paths will be different. The path to unlock has been implied to be long and most people will not succeed. Now, in order for the devs to have said in Beta that a Jedi had not been unlocked, Jedi must have been in place already.Further Quote: I'm creating this thread to basically sift through the myriad of crap and let people quickly access the TRUTH. Please don't post on this thread unless you intend to post what you saw first hand.(I.E. none of this, I met a guy who beta tested who's mom says she overheard a guy say jedi in the produce section at Wal Mart the other day...) All I'd like to see posted on this thread are screenshots or FIRST hand information. I read the Jedi FAQ and I'm still a little confused on what set of circumstances must occur to unlock the FS slot. So if you have SOLID, CONCRETE, ABSOLUTE evidence you spotted a jedi, the sith temple, spotted a dark jedi, saw one of the jedi's in Beta and got a screenshot, know something for SURE about the jedi profession, etc, please feel free to log it in here and let's keep track of the FACTS!!!Why on Earth would they have a Jedi specific FAQ if there were no Jedi? Again, not the date. 7-2-03. What's that, about a week after launch? Less?More to follow as need be.
looked at the link and this is what i got. The Message you are trying to access has been deleted. Please update your bookmarks. Went with what I Remeber seeing in the FAQ on lucas and the Dev comments i saw leading up to Beta.

ok let's not have this degenerate into belittling the moron who thought jedi weren't originally going to be in game, the point is they were going to be rarely seen and difficult to level, not hoards of them sitting in one spot not even caring who sees them while running afk macros to level from 0 skills to full temp in less than two weeks
No need. I suspect we've heard the last from Jafo1 on the subject.
I never really thought they'd ever be rare. MMO Gamers who want something badly enough will go through hell and back to get it. Just the fact that there was a "system" clued me in that eventually there'd be a TON of Jedi.

ya that's what i figured too but i always hoped there would be some sort of cap on the number or something, and i thought i heard something about blue glowies once, you know like after the jedi died their 3 times or whatever they become a glowie and then someone else that has gotten far enough to where they have earned a jedi character gets like visited by the glowie and then the new guy can try to level a jedi, that woulda been pretty cool and been difficult and limited the number of jedi
I never really thought a cap would work because they said anyone could be a Jedi. If there were 10 for each server, than nobody else could become one. That means anyone cannot become one at that point.
I didn't really think the blue glowie thing would fly, but it was supposed to be what happens if you make it to master before permanently keeling over. There just is no purpose to a permanent blue glowie.

How's YOUR AFK grinding going?
And finally someone else sees what? That being a Jedi has been reduced to a joke, and at the VERY least is a BIG insult to the Jedi before you who actually had to "worry" about ANY death?
(The first part of what you just wrote makes no sense, so I will attempt to divine the meaning you intended.)
That is actually what you are saying. You said because there were no non-Jedi in your movie, that no non-Jedi AFK grind. I replied by pointing out the gaping flaw in your argument. Don't project your faulty logic onto me
Oh and it's rationale, since you are being picky.
I haven't had to grind anything since I bought JTL. Been finished on my Jedi and BH for a long time, so spare me your attempted insults. Look at my forum reg date and remember you are talking to someone who has played this game a lot longer than you (I was in the original beta too), so your usual armoury of insults will do you no good. As my above post says, I remember perma-death and sabre TEF along with bugged BH missions for pitiful XP, all done with no vehicles. You can't out "old timer" me I'm afraid.
If you have no case to back up your trolling, just retire gracefully.
Round and round we go...spin spin spin thil it's SO unlogical people can't even remember what the hell we were talking about....
BOTTOM LINE:
Jedi AFK grind on Kashyyyk FAR more then any other "profession". What's so hard about this? No one even mentioned your name, so whay take it so personal?
Exactly!
Well that's not exactly a news flash now is it. Doesn't mean other professions don't do it. 2 ish days afk grinding on Kash will fill out most templates. But they generally don't do that since there are other, more lucrative places to afk grind.
Jedi do it there because it's the safest place to do it. That doesn't mean that because you're not seing them there other professions don't do it.

Yet it ended due to the removal of the FRS.
I am still grinding jedi yet I was told that this was how 'fightclubbing' took place by one of said 'fightclubbing' jedi that did this for his spot on the rebel council.

Thats why we got nerfed in publish 20....so jedi could not exploit their FRS, but it's under the guise of "griefing". But very few BHs really griefed Jedi and it was easy for the jedi to stop it. A jedi's visibility cleared after they died, they could also go into space, go to kashyyyk or just stay in their house. It's not griefing for a BH to kill a jedi or follow a jedi, believe it or not it's actually designed to be that way....So effectively Jedi exploiting got us nerfed....and people wonder why they hate them?
Almost...your ALMOST there. It was the DEVS that turned Jedi group vis ON that created all this mythical grieving....now they have turned it OFF...that ALONE should stop the grieving, but that wasn't enough...your right, they nerfed US to prevent Jedi exploiting FRS from each others MBH alt....that's REALLY sad.
