JustG: next step should be to move ranger tracking down to Scout or get rid of Ranger altogether. It's a useless profession, and the only useful tree in it IS Tracking. Then if any BH's wanted to, they could still get Tracking to help track bounties.

Wow, once again, you guys do what you want. A vast majority of BH wanted the Req's to remain the same, yet here you go applying band-aids, yet again. JustG, you never cease to amaze me. Some of you people here are so easily distracted by things like this, it boggles the mind. "Watch my right hand, but pay no attention to the left". You failed miserably, via nerfing to oblivion, in making BH a stand alone profession. You see no fix for this on the horizon, so you decide to let us all be MBH/TKM.
Yay for us, and yay for you in another classic example of distraction. You guys at SOE are like Master Magicians, forcing a card. Wow...I am actually stunned speechless. Not in a good way. You got alot of BH, some who are new to the profession, to completely ignore the droid problem, the TEF problem, the mission payout problem, et al.
Well, this is another thing set in stone, so I will adapt accordingly as I always have.

Move player Jedi bounties to Master Bounty Hunter or this change is going to kill both Jedi and Bounty Hunters as viable professions. "

I have to agree with a few of the posts from above. I like the change as a temporary solution but move Jedi bounties to Master, please. I would also consider making LLC a rifle instead of a heavy weap. Bump the bounties up as far as payout is concerned too, make em worth our while.

Wow! I'm not even remotely intreseted in playingBH, but I think these are some wonderful changes and suggestions - really like the Idea of BH trials andconnectingit to a BH faction system!
Just nice to post something really positive for a change!

Seriously people- This isn't a fix to the Bounty Hunter profession at all. I would've much rather seen something done with our skill points to make us stand on our own rather than dabble into other professions. Too much black and white thinking here...

Sounds good. I think it will also increase dabbling in BH (for those who are inclined).
Lets move Jedi Bounties to Master BH to keep the dabblers away.

Which is exactly as it SHOULD be.. A bounty hunter doesn't have to be a carbon copy template.. Jango Fett, Aurra Sing, Bossk, Boba Fett all had different -means- to accomplish the -end- of collecting a bounty.. a bounty hunter profession should be about the -extras- you get on top of some other combat class, not replacing a combat class... if I want to be a master pistoleer who is a bounty hunter great, if I want carbines great, if I want TK, great..

This is not the way to fix BH. We got nerfed from the onset due to people dabbling i.e Pistoleers for the eye shot etc etc. Why in gods name cant they just fix us properly. making BH another punk dabbler profession is not the way foward.
This is a complete cop out by the devs.
You can call me a troll and every other online insult you can think of but deep down you know I am right. BH profession should be powerfull enough to stand on its own with out the need for the devs to "band aid" fix us by turing us into dablers like everyone else.
Today is the day the BH profession ceased being a trueelite Star wars orientated character and became another also ran dabbler/stacker/exploiter profession.
Carry on kidding yourselves THIS MOST CERTAINLY IS NOT STAR WARS

sorry to be cynical but, i find it hardly coincidental that we finally get some attention (although in the form of a band aid) in the wake of both the publish 9 fiasco and the resulting cancellation of many bounty hunter accounts
