They are kind of annoying to work. Just shoot, it takes less time. I tested a 59 power one on a Jedi friend who was buffed today and with Force Armor on it took his action down 3/4. Not enough damage as he was able to heal it right away.

There fun to use if you have the money. I like to use Silver coloured Protocol droids and call them ticket droid. It's funny to watch players wounder why the ticket droid is walking around, then boom. the fight starts (sometime the fight starts before the boom) either way there fun in NPC cities.

Can someone explain to me how to use bomb droids, and what a good macro is for them. Also can you tell me the deathblow macro.

I think you can program the droid with a voice command and then use the /tellpet command to detonate it without targeting.
I tested an MSE det droid by having it follow an NPC target and using /detonate.
I'd wait until either the Jedi is unaware of you for whatever reason, or combat has started before sending the droid in. It can be attacked and destroyed before detonating, otherwise.

easiest way is to catch them at a mission terminal, pop a bomb droid we all have seen people pull droids to get better missions and bang a couple fo shots and one dead and bewildered jedi

When sending a bomb droid after a target, and you don't have aggro yourself (you are camoed, just out of range, etc), does the droid gain aggro before it reaches it's target?

From what I've seen no, but it varies a bit. If the target is just sitting there doing nothing the droid doesn't get agro. If the target is fighting something else and lets loose an area attack the droid will get agro. But normally as soon as the droid blows YOU will be agroed, but I havn't tried it with ranger camo on, though I doubt it will help, as anything strong enough for you to need a bomb droid on most likely will break through the camo easy.
