Master Droid Engineer, Master Artisan, Master Buffer

So instead of using a droid as a first attack, you can start an attack, land some states on your mark, then run to your droid and start a detonation macro. The droid will go BOOM! and you can finish the job?

I'm thinking of playing with the bomb droid idea. I think it might be useful to have a droid paint kit and paint the droid some color that will blend into the envirnment (i.e. camoflage) I have a dark green bike and I can't find it sometimes on dantooine. It looks like a bush

The best Detonation Droids are MSE and Adv MSE droids, they get a bonus for detonation. I am a MDE and asked a BH to experiment for me with Detonation Droids. I made an MSE ( 1 Detonation Module), an Adv MSE ( 2 Detonation Modules), an Adv R2 ( 5 Detonation Modules), and an Adv R3 ( 6 Detonation Modules). The R2 and R3 are really expensive to make, 50 - 80K credits, and did not have a significant damage increase compared to the Adv MSE. THe MSE's on the other hand sell for 2K and 4K credits respectively and give a big bang for the buck he said. Since I am not a BH I will leave any discussion on tactics and strategy on how to use them to your noble profession. It was unfortunate that the BH did not report the actual damage inflictes by the four different droids, so I can't tell you how much damage they inflict. The total damage or a range of damage may also depend on the targets level ( not sure though). I like the earlier post of getting a Droid Customization Kit and camo the droid for your particular environment. I know when I craft the MSE's I make them colored red. you need to be certified to use the barker droids.. advertisement 2 or 3.. I don't remember which.. so yes there are certification tied to using droids.. I have no idea what the other droid's certs are.. you may want to check the DE boards

Bomb droids- Novice BH or Novice Smuggler

Harvest droids- Novice Scout

Trapping droids- Trapping4 to load traps(I think)

Stimpack droids- Pharmacology4 to load Stims

Seeker and Probe droids- Novice BH (forgot those didn't ya?)

Merchant Barker droids- Advertising4

Effects and Music Playback droids- Novice Dancer and/or Novice Musician

There's probably 1 or 2 that even I have forgotten, but those are the basics. We've been poking to get the skills required listed on the deed for a long time, so people stop buying droids they can't make use of.
