Your friend is either very uninformed, or purposely teasing you. The Padawan trials have not even been created yet. They go live in publish 10.

i heard it is possible to unlock a FS slot.. but you would have to do the FS quests twice or something... is that true?... i heard... that there was some way to get a slot after publish 9 or ten... one of the devs said that i think... a while back

You can still profession grind to unlock until publish 10, a few have already said they unlocked after the patch. You just can not play your Jedi until after publish 10, and no one knows quite yet if you will play jedi on your main, or the second character they give you.

I heard a rumor that Pistoleer was getting Duel weild and was wondering if this was true at all.

Yes. Pistoleers and Fencers are supposed to be getting Dual Wield, at some point in the distant future.

Don't get too carried away. This might not happen for some time. If history is any guide, it won't be soon, and even when it does come, it's not going to be any uber-skill. That much you can count on.

You haven't heard? BH is dropping 3 lines of scout as requirements. Starting Fridar[i think], You can master both pistoleer and BH with 18 points left.

I suppose this forum will fit this post... Is it true that in pub 10 weaponskill deffences will only work when your wearing that weapon. Example: If your master pistoleer and master rifleman, the mods that are on your pistol tree will NOT work when useing your rifle? Is this true? If it is then this game really is going to hell fast. All templates would have to change

What mods are you talking about? Right now the only mods that work between professions would be defensive mods. If you are saying that mods no longer stack to the +125 cap then I haven't heard this. Nor do I think it is to likely. If this did go there would be no templates. Since a template is a combination of professions for the best advantage. If you can't combine there there is no template.
