Because padawans are easy and now most people want to be a Bounty Hunter. Specialy now jedi had suffered some nerfs and padawans can't block almost anything like before and new jedi havelow defenses. Bounty Hunter is easy to get too.

Its because they are the only ones that can be killed before they get 20 meters to a bridge.

Are they? I mean I've tried almost 50 times to kill a knight solo but they are ready for pvp 24/7 and defense stack more than a solid brick.

On the other hand I have (with much effort and patience) been able to solo 203-215kers and the payout is a mere 10k lower for a much easier job.

btw- any BH who says he hunts formoney is an idiot. Taking 4-7 hours to track and kill a 215ker is not worth the time and effort. I could take Bol missions in that amount of time and get more money.

It takes you 4-7 hours to track and kill a 215ker? Wow.

I tend to hunt non-complete templates because these guys are usually found grinding and low on force.

The completed templates are usually inside player-cantinas, complaining that no one ever hunts them.

When I want cash I hunt 110-180k Jedi. If they are on any adventure planet grinding xp it takes 15 min to get to them, 15 min to fight them, 5 min to return. 1 hour = 120-360k and it was fun in the process. Bol missions 9.5k each, 5 min to find them (find on terminal then travel), 5 min to kill them, 1 minute to mish #2, 5 min to kill them, 2 min to return. 18min = 19k, 1 hour = 57k. 57k does not equal what I can make on Jedi in the same time, heck BH npc missions take about 15min and you can get about 90k / hour.

You guys don't need to believe me, but last rumor i heard was SOE wants to remove jedi all together. I'm sure you guys are happy about it.

I'd be happy, but it won't happen because there are so many Jedi now that SOE won't risk losing that many subscriptions.

I mostly hunt from, 140 - 226k (normally 180kish). I dont hunt lower than 140k (unless theres noone else online, after 359035930 refreshes) because they normally have some nasty Rifle skills that can really burn a hole in your armor and fook you badly....

By the way, to all the Jedi - You can all go whine to the Jedi forums - Jedi ARE supposed to be hunted. Period.

If you didn't want to be hunted there's other 32(I think) professions to choose from - from Weaponsmith to Exotic Dancer.

It's simple - if you don't wanna get hunted then instead of going Jedi, go Master Dancer / Master Tailor - I think you'll be happy to find out they aren't hunted and you can play all you want without worrying.

Jedi = SWG IN HARCORE MODE if you don't have the balls for it then don't get the FS for it

P.S.: BHs can hunt whoever they want, the Jedi chose to go Jedi, they weren't forced at gunpoint....

Because most BH's don't have the necessary skills. They take what is easy vs. most reward. I read some actually say Paddy's are more of a challenge. lol.

Jeez we here all the complaints about jedi being the uber l33t alpha pro, but reading this thread you'd think it was the BH who were 1.5x the stronger prof, especially listening to the knight killers ^ ^ You guys never seem to die, Or if you do no one reports or boast about it -

Guess I must roll a BH on my alt, my Ego sure could do with an injection of uberness :-))

I mainly hunt jedi from 140K to 224K (non-knight) simply because a Knight no longer has anything to lose in terms of XP. I may hunt a Knight in a group just for the fun of it, however solo hunting Knight's kind of take the fun out of it for me. I want to see that XP loss. As a jedi myself, I could care less if someone kills me when I'm a Knight but it gets me fired up to die before that and have to regrind for the xp,,,,as it does most paddys.

This pretty much sums up the entire BH profession: Grief player who are people hating cowards that need to boost their frail egos by spoiling other people's games.

mmkay

I am a Jedi and not a BH.

BH were alllowed to hunt Jedi to slow the population and make Jedi hard. When you started Jedi you knew you were signing up for this. It was known to you and therefore not griefing.

If it is spoiling your game don't play a Jedi. You signed up for it.

Although there have been cases of bh's griefing particular paddy's they know this is not the majority of the profession but a very small minority.

The BH profession has been put in place as the antagonist to the jedi. You knew it, live with it.

If you don't want to be hunted stay off the terms or accept the ground rules set.

im not elite yet but hers some thoughts

1. what if it was smugglers ganking you? is it just bh related? your PVP right which means some not all of this proffession will kill you not because your jedi but because they are 1 faction you are the other.

2. force sensitive is a privlage not a right. just because your force sensitive dosn't mean you have to climb the tree.

3. bh's what about the jedis who use their powers to help low level players i've heard about jedis ganging on low level players but i've met many that are more likly to help me out of a spot than a bh?
