I'm currently BH 3444. I plan on hunting padawans pretty much excluslively (and occasionally hunt higher marks) and I have no shame about it. When I kill them, I'm going to pat myself on the back and count the credits It's nothing personal, just busniess

gawd..its simple for me..i just like killin em, nothing malicious intended..i just enjoy it it..

if getting killed is so much of a trauma for the jedi then they picked the wrong profession..

i enjoy my profession, if you dont like yours thenthat aint my fault...nuff said.

Some of you BHs going just after xp loss have it all wrong. I hunt for the $$$, and if you can manage to constantly kill fully templated knights, you will be rich in no time. I do not bother with marks below 180k.

Unless I'm mistaken isn't it the job of bounty hunters ot keep the jedi population under control through xp loss.

In that case, I think someone needs to inform you that you failed that job, failed miserably, and deserve to be fired cuz ya failed so bad.

Oh wise one please explain to me why the current jedi bounty hunter system is in place then?

Or if you wanted you could just flame some more of my post considering you obviously have no relevent knowledge on the matter or you would have shared it.

JUst reading the endless complaints about "OMG!!! There are too many Jedi!!!!!!" is enough to say that you BH'ers have failed at being population control. You are nothing more than a speed bump in the grind. Bounty hunters in truth offer NO type of population control. You may cause a few jedi XP, but they are still going on with the grind, and more are coming out from the village. The game does NOT give you the power to "control" another player. All you do is hinder their grind a bit.

Case in point just because the current system is broken imo does not change the fact that it is still a bounty hunters job to make the jedi grind more difficult mainly through xp loss.

But that is still not "population control" in any way...just a pesky neussance. Nothing more.

Just because the current system isn't working correctly does notchange the fact that it is still a bounty hunters job to keep the jedi population under some kind of control. WhichI might add would make me right.

Ok, then... since you were the one who insinuated how I am the "wise one"... why not explain how losing xp is keeping the population under control in ANY way? You cannot call it a broken system, the system is working as intended... you kill a Jedi, jedi loses XP, Jedi continues grinding. Nothing broken there.

Just because the system doesn't work the way you think it should does not make it a broken system.

It is financially more acceptable to succeed in 80% of 130k missions, which usually do not take more than 15 minutes provided themark isnot on Kashyyyk, than in 45% of 220k missions which will take much more time because you need to wait an opportunity to attack or you have to fight a very long fight.

That and what other said: the XP loss is an effect to the galaxy that we can have, since it's a MMO people want to have an impact on the world. Hunting knights who dont care doesnt bring this impact.

There is no FRS so there are no knights. All Jedi are padawans.

Well there are alot of reasons and I'll just through some out there.

1. No more perma death.

2. Quad xp

3. double xp right after that

4. respec

5. kashyyyk

6. absolutely no penalty for finfished templates when they die to a bounty hunter (ie loss of boxes etc if perma death is to harsh in your opinion)

SOE had to have known that within a system where jedi can get to a point where they are no longer in danger of being controlled populace wise that this would become a problem. All of these things when removed or when put into the game even for a short amount of time really screwed any population control hardcore. My point all along is just because bounty hunters may not be very good population control doesnt change the fact that they are still population control. Take peanut butter cookies for example imo they aren't very good cookies but they are still cookies.
