as you said i took the jedi path and i live with it i'm not complaining about getting hunted i personaly could care less... just trying to give bh a bit of their own medicine with the force pvp with nothing to lose for them...
Your not forced to PVP, delete your Jedi and play your alt
And you would not be forced to PVP, delete you BH and play another proff :-P

The fact of the matter is Jedi is not a regular prof, it is a special class that is designed for the advanced gamers who have and willingly spend time on this game, not to mention they have a secound character for when they are too overwhelmed to face BHs.
The BH prof is accessible to the average player where as the Jedi prof requires a lot more commitment both with time and money (on-line creds). This is why you get hunted, greater gain = greater risk. Jedi are more powerful than BHs and rightfuly so, the only way we can beat you in a hunt is by out smarting you and that's why we hunt in the first place not because we greif you, but because it is a test of our skill and cunning.
Most Jedi have a BH alt anyway and should understand this, plus the fact that when you get confronted with a BH you have an equal if not greater chance of winning. (Not including those Jedi who I see always dueling by the Star Port.)
It looks to me that the only reason you want to hunt BHs is to keep them from hunting you or some revenge fantasy. If you don't want to be hunted than don't be Jedi.
Even Tanks has stated that were all Padawans and not 1.5 times stronger, If this went into being. Well all I'd have to say to you is STAY OFF THE TERMS!

Are you talking about thesame players who either bought their Jebay account, grinded at the Ryatt trails AFK for months on end while they slept, whogathered in spin groups, or burned upendless cratesof grenades on a lair sure didn't seem to be very much into ROLEPLAYING THEN. hmmm how do you RP a jedi if you don't have a jedi character? and why the hell do you now bring out how players grind... it has nothing to do with this. if the player started playing this game because he wanted to RP a jedi then he has to grind his way to jedi. he could have been one of those that decided to buy it of ebay.. who knows. a guy offered me in the middle of theed to buy my jedi just like that pretty sad if you ask me.
i can understand that you are afraid of being hunted... so are 90% of the jedi that came out with the CU and the stupid double xp and constant respecs, most of them have sabers that can't do crap for dmg and those are the ones that run/hide or simply just die to the bh that keep getting better and are harder to kill than most jedi. this would be the same some bh will survive the attack and some will not just like jedi some survive some don't.
on an earlyer note that i believe you posted "not sure" what the hell would you be doing tanking pikets in a spin group when you are a ranged profession? you should be outside the whole mess and not getting hit.

That right there is why I stopped caring about your point of view. Yes, BHs (the profession alone, not any other combined profession) are FINALLY a profession to be respected. Jedi have been nerfed, yes I know. But they haven't been nerfed to the extent that they are the worst off profession in the game. I know the point you are trying to make, but it just isn't prudent. All I gather from this post is that you are mad about the changes made to Jedi inproportion to those made with BH. Jedi are not supposed to hunt and kill for money...regardless of who offers the mission. And that is exactly what it will be. You take a BH mission from the shrine with an approximate payout...you complete the mission and not only are you wealthier, higher FRS rating, etc., you just became that which you fight......a glorified BH. That is why i disagree with your idea.

its funny as he11 to hear these crybabies whine about ebay jedi, sure theres a few kicking around. and sure there were a few afk grinders on the ryatt trails, total % of the jedi pop that did this, likely less than 10%. how many of these nancy-boys respec'ed to bh? 90? 95? more?? how many went mbh/mcm as soon as it was clear that was the FOTM? 99%? more? How many are nothing but griefers who get wood when they can cost xp to someone grinding with no viable way to defend themselves? 99%? more? so how many of their oppinions matter? 1%? less?
As far as Jedi hunting BH's, i think that is a poor idea, they are the only prof that cries more than jedi, and i dont want all that gehy looking bh armor rusting out from the inside. might spoil their attitude. i say rather let them hunt smugglers, put smugglers on the terms and you will quickly see how overpowered MBH can get. then when everyone is mbh/mcm, OR msmug/mcm maybe they will redirect someof that hate that has built up against us back at the devs for creating the single most retarded griefing system known to the MMORPG world.

Because there are alot of lame players that go around accussing every Jedi they see of being Ebayed. I've been accussed of it numerous times, but I can assure you I am the ONLY person besides my husband that's every touched the account.

Yes...in the actual SW world the council would have done this. However, in the SWG game mechanic it wouldn't work. Reason being, the mission would have a payout or some kind of an reward for the completion of the mission, hence it is nothing more than a BH mission. And you can't "capture" at the moment (and probably never will...not with players especially), so you can only kill to complete the mission. That right there solidifies my opinon that if this would come to be, then it will reduce Jedi to being nothing more than glorified BHs with lightsabers.

You don't know what you are talking about jedi need resources to create their saber, food/drink, speeders, houses, starships, and they have to have pearls/crystals only the last item on that last is obtainable by a jedi without help from another player. Now lets look at TKM its the same except they don't need resources for any reason nor do they need anyone's help getting their best weapon.
Not that any of that matters but you are constantly putting so much false info in each of your posts its stagering. Also if something like this did happen it wouldn't affect you by the sound of it you belive jedi are so uber you prolly don't even hunt them.
I have a BH and I would be very happy if this was implimented would just make things more fun for me.
