This camp adds + 70 to droid track at master! Maybe it even has a little radar on it .. he he.. come on peeps camps are cool.

As long as it does not "add" any more to droid speed. I am not sure if I can take it going any slower .

OMG, yes to master brawler. Just think of line 4 in the meditation line of TKA and tell me you don't want the pre-req to be master brawler. I'll take powerboost and wound healing (if that is still in med 4 =( ) over camps anyday.

And an easy way to fix it for those who are already BH is simple - take away scout completely from us and automatically give us master brawler. =D

Thats not easy since ALOT of bh's have some CH and/or ranger...hence it prob won't happen.

Though I support brawler over scout, the community looks pretty divided on this, so I would advocate Tank not pushing this too hard, since it would be unfair to a good chunk of the existing BH populace.

Oh and if I see any more talk of getting a Rifle line in BH instead of the LLC i am going to go mad!

The LLC is a BH's best friend. SAVE THE LLC!!!!!

I was under the impression that the "talk" was to turn LLC into a rifle and not a hvy wpn and to allow us to benefit from our rifler experience and abilities in marksman.

Am I the only BH that gets off his vehicle and mount to fight?

I use my faster speed on mountains and hills to get out of certain death situations when fighting stuff harder then our marks.

There is no way I could fight a force sensitive and stay out of their range wihtout terrain negotiation.

Also I am out in the wild a lot and camping is how I heal up.

The one line I never use is traps and creature harvesting. I only hunt creatures when I need the hides and bones for making tents.

Tanks,

I think changing the prerequisites to mastering brawler is the wrong direction for the BH profession. We are not brawling street fightersin any sense. Brawling should be optional for those who want to invest their 33 points in it, which Im sure NO BH do currently. We should at least wait and see how the combat changes effect us before playing around with prerequisites.

We should concentrate on taking things from both the marksmanprofession (which we aready do) and from the scouting profession from which BH are built (sincewe currently lack any enhanced scouting abilities, other than tracking through droids).

PC traps and stealth are the way to go in this area imho. Numerous traps have been suggested. Probably the best suggestions are to enhance the ones against creatures and make them useable against NPCs/PCs.

Stealth should be added, as we already know /takecover and /maskscent from the scouting AND marksman professions. We should be able to combine the two, either through technology (like the stealth unit from KOTOR) or natural ability combining /takecover and /maskscent against NPCs/PCs until the first shot is fired. We are bounty hunters, assassins for hire. Assassins should always have some sort of stealth ability. Our current stealth needs upgraded within the BH profession. If we are about damage and less defense then stealth would at least let us pick and choose our fights against our marks by giving us the first jump on them- usually when they are least expecting it.

If things from the hunting and camping tree lines are unused then we should think of ways to incorporate them into the BH profession with a BH theme, not just ripping rangers off, or any other profession. Traps for BH, for example, should be usable against NPCs/PCs, whereas rangers have them against creatures. Etc.

I think our efforts would be better served for our profession if we concentrate on these ideas, along with some ranged defense that is at least mid way between pistoleer and a freakin dancer!

Keep up the fight.

No.... if you do change it, just make less required. The abilities of MBH certainly don't justify the skillpoint sink.

If you are going to advocate a revamp of the profession, advocate a real revamp such as whatI posted yesterday.

Regarding Warcry 1 and 2:

Those are very useful skills no doubts about it...

In my thread where I suggested Bleed be removed and replaced by some type of special that was the same as War cry one player suggested that it be a Master box special and not a novice box special.

Well if we all had to do brawler in order to become bh's then why not have a delay special , a first strike special using our weapons that did the exact same thing as warcry 2does.

Also changing to brawler may allow us to dabble our remaing points in smuggler, TKA, and commando but remember it will also be easier for them to dabble in BH too.

I posted my suggestion for the prerequisite dilema a couple of days ago in a threadat the following link:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bounty_hunter&message.id=134401.

Seems like not too many saw the thread, I even emailed it toTanks, but I can't tell that heeven looked,so I'll interject my suggestion here. Check out the link, but here's the cliff's notes version. Give all elite professions-just so we don't get accused of being selfish-the ability to drop a limited number of skill boxes from their prerequisite professions. My original thought was to have the ability to drop one line, or 5 boxes, from a prerequisite profession, spread out how ever we see fit,and still maintain our status as bounty hunters.

The idea is this, in real life we learn certain skills throughout our life that we eventually leave behind for other skills. Sound familiar? As hunters, we learn to trap and harvest animals, but once wemove on to bounty hunting, wenever take those skills into the human hunting realm-forth coming human traps not-withstanding. Give us the ability to drop some of those skills to pick up something that suits our style of play closer. This would allow those of you who prefer the brawler skills to scout skills to pick up a line of novice brawler skills in favor of say the hunting line of scout. Those of you who like our current template could keep it just like is. No one would lose their status as MBH, no one would have to regrind an entire novice profession. Nice, neat, clean change that would give a lot of people the chance to really improve and customize their character.

Any thoughts?

Tanks

How about this...

All Novice BH have to complete 8 tier 1 skill branches. Any 8.

That would allow total customozation of the BH character per individual. This game is going to end up Jedi vs BH wars anyway so why not go ahead and get us ready for it...were abou tto be VERY outnumbered.

Well ya'll are...I'm about to quit

I see the devs have finally started reconsidering their reconsideration of the BH from back to just before this game went live. /sigh

Tanks, it is clear that with the camp requirements for summoning pets etc. being removed that Scout has been reduced from SP sink to dabble status. /maskscent is very handy as is terrain negotiation and /examinebut that can be dabbled into somewhat. Since the traps and survival line are now as dead as the dodo I can see why you are checking into these changes.

The idea of Master Brawleris poor in my opinion andsmacks of flailing. Most of our problems could be fixed if Bounty Hunter was fixed, not by substituting yet another worthless Master Line just so we can say something got done. Brawler has even less to do with our job then Scout does, if that's even possible. I say FIX Bounty Hunter, STOP FLAILING. If Brawler offered something as a standalone I would say let's do it but it offers nothing but the ability to go dabble in something that is a little more interesting then Ranger. Brawler by itself is pointless.

I thank you Tanks for taking the time to be our representative to the devs. Keep up the good work.
