Hmmm. Possibly the mission won't generate if they are in a house? While this sounds like a good idea, I can only imagine the bugs and possible exploits that this would cause. Is this really such a big issue? Yeah, it sucks when you pull a few in a row, but jeez, remember when there weren't many jedi on the terms in the first place? Really, how much time does this waste? 10 minutes? I'm afraid of what thissolution will be.
On the contrary, testing showed that on average 21% of missions were AFK in houses, 9% were AFK cloaked, and 13% were on Kashyyyk. That's 43% of your total missions pulled. Original post can be found here
Suppose we could remove all bounties on target that haven't moved beyond a 64m radius for an hour(the exact parameters are debatable) from the terminals. Should the Jedi move beyond the 64m radius later, all standing bounties go back on the terms. Active bounties could remain in BH datapads for the die-hard stalkers.
Of course a Jedi could bypass this by moving beyond that radius every hour, but it would at least prevent hunters from grabbing the mission of a Jedi who has left for work or gone to sleep. Moving beyond that radius would also require exiting a structure, making him vulnerable to any hunters who have been waiting outside with an active bounty.
The biggest drawback would be giving the green-light to Feral Wookie grinding. However, a) without names and droids this is nigh-impossible to begin with, and b) the Devs have stated they don't want us hunting there (not that I have a problem with anyone doing this anyhow
).
I would rather they fix the tef issue with bases first, but that's just me.
As would I and the /duel exploit above that, but a man can dream, can't he?
Oh, and Jedi have every right to sit in their house if they want to. We shouldn't be able to force them out. That is just silly.
Agreed. I think the above proposal would allow Jedi to stay in their houses all day if they wanted, but still save Bounty Hunters wasted trips for marks they can't get to anyhow.

Man i knew there were still respectable players at the temp and you have proved to be one, i agree with all your thoughts on this and im sure the REAL bh's out there do to, its just to bad a few bad apples in every temp have to ruin it and cause nerfs for the rest of us.
GJto the bh cor for puttinga stop to this rediculous idea.

It seems there is a misunderstanding on the Jedis part on what it means to be a BH and what it means to be a jedi.
Nah your just a respec bh who is giving the true bh a bad name. Go play with your legos and leave the real games to people who can play them.

Force me to come out of my house? You want some strings on my arms, head and legs too?
Howabout the BH mission terminal just jumps the Jedi to the BH's location with 1 health point, with the Jedi in a permanent root? Oh, and this even works if the Jedi is offline? Why inconvenience a player with having to wait for a player to come online to grief....'er, hunt.

43% leaving 57% to hunt isnt a bad ratio mate.

I think if 43% of lairs didn't spawn or 43% of factional bases disappeared, other professions would be howling too
just get the mission then when you track them the jedi is teleported to your location with out there saber and goes prone better ?

You miss the point mate. 43% of other content does poof all the time. Or just plain doesnt work and has yet to be fixed. I still think your ideas are good and should be explored further, but my point is, that this isnt broken. Frustrating yes, but broken no.
I think the devs time would be better put to good use fixing bugs, rather than worrying about 1 particular classes little setbacks, even if it does affect me too.

Worrying about one particular profession's little setbacks is a responsibility I happily accept as a Correspondent ![]()

Notice what I said there. I know what your job is mate. Been there done that on countless other games. My point is, that right now with all the bugs, I dont want to see new stuff instituted to mess the game up anymore than it already is. The devs need to kick it into high gear and fix all the other bugs out there before they start adding more.
