Whats better?

4044 for the melee defense, ranged defense, state defense, and Valor (which I hardly ever use)

or

4440 for the Inate armor and more ranged defense

I am 4044 now, and wondering if I should take the time to grind out 4440?

Force Valor only has a couple uses.

When only fighting a large group of NPC's with Ranged Weapons, and when a BH is out of range from you. Since you take a damage reduction and it costs force to activate you would only want to use it when you have to.

The Innate Armor and Ranged Defense in the x4xx line is always useful.

You would get more Melee Defense in xxx4 but at the expense of a lot of Ranged Defense from x4xx.

4440 is much more balanced and for it's uses Force Valor is not worth the skill points

4440 is better than 4044 because I'd rather have more innate armor than valor.

errrr sorta depends on what you want. When(if) they bring frs back 4440 would treat you better because more ininate defense. Against bh and whatnot the +25 block might do you better.

also, with 4404 you will notice alot of blocks, but what you dont block will almost everytime hit you and hit you hard. With 4440 you might not block it all but a good bit of it will miss. 4440 is probably a better choice.

I you have 4mil banked in experience go Def4440, I really love it. The innate armor makes the difference.

Deciding to drop force armor, and just not sure on which skill tree in defender to get. I currently have x/x/4/4, and I'm debating on whether to get 4/x/x/x, or x/4/x/x. I know, ranged for BH's, melee for jedi, but honestly, in the long run what will benefit me the most?
