As a non-Jedi and a Master BH I salute this tactic. All is fair in BH land and i wish all the scrub BH would stop whinning and learn the mechanics of the game. ... DO what you have to and stop catering to all thePunk BH im sick of listening to people say .. "I cant kill a jedi" .. use tactics and try to appreciate the fact that everyone wants to win u just cant be a winner all the time

trust me, nobody is suposed to be able to intefere with a BH's mission after he gets TEF, this is an exploit if used on purpose. Otherwise its just a bug that WILL be fixed.

So the BH interferes with the duel, then the interfered cant interfere with the interferer...?

I support the Interfered TEF

No, what he is saying is that the act of the db from his buddy was the exploit. His buddy could have /endduel at anytime, yet he did not. Plus, you don't "accidently" db someone.

And the BH could have dropped the mission at anytime, yet he did not.

Orif the BH did get the db, he was then exploiting the /duel by stealing the db....

ROFL

Having some trouble wrapping my mind around your logic there. BH shows for the mission and see's a duel is happening, so he should drop the mission? That's not just stupid, that's plain retarded. His buddy threw the db on him just to screw the BH out of his victory, no other reason. In the Jedi vs. BH system we have here, the goal of the BH is to kill the Jedi and it is the goal of the Jedi to survive, not prevent XP loss through improper use of game mechanics.

Guess I didnt hint at the semi-sarcastic humor lol

If you think about it, they claiming that because the duelers didnt /endduel when a BH attacks that it is exploiting, why should they have to? Hmm, Duel-TEF?

So how would it work if it was two overts fighting and the BH attacked? If the overt gets the db and bh doesnt thats an exploit too? Hmm, Overt-TEF?

Whats funny is how you never hear about when npc's steal BH kills, but once a live person does, its an exploit.

example 1. Jedi-BH fight gets rancor aggro and dies, no db for BH

exploit?

Is it an exploit when a BH waits for a Jedi to become incapped in PvE and then gets the DB without so much as firing 1 shot? Nope. BH’s claim it is good tactics (I agree also).

Is it an exploit when a BH waits for a Jedi to become incapped in PvP so that BH can get the DB without doing any kind of work? Nope. BH’s claim it is good tactics (I agree also)

Is it an exploit when a BH waits for a Jedi to become incapped while dueling someone and then gets the DB without doing any kind of actual engagement? Nope, BH’s claim it is good tactics. (I agree also)

Is it an exploit when a Jedi gets one of they’re friends to DB them when they are attacked by a BH? Nope, just good tactics on behalf of the Jedi this time. (I agree also).

Please dont talk rubbish, PSG's dont work vs jedi, as for the armor and that sure, but what about primium pearls? they no longer exist. what about a fully templated adept jedi is stronger than an adept bounty hunter with all these mods. not true. a fully templated post CU BH on average is better then a fully templated post CU jedi. for pearl/crystals now are crap.

The fact is jedi are stronger than bounty hunters, therefore we use every advantage we can gain possible. very poor arguement. using this arguement the orginal poster was weaker then the BH obviously, so he should be allowed to take every advantage possible.Any jedi who is dense enough to gain vis then go tanking pickets in an open area deserves to die.

Bounty hunter vs jedi is 1 vs 1 , no interference by anyone outside. If its ok for your pal to DB you so you dont lose xp, it should be ok for your other pal to heal you.

This exploit shows serious lack of skill coming from the jedi part.

overall a tough call though. i would say if the duel happened post BH engagement, that would be evidence that it was being used to circumvent XP loss and would likely take action against the jedi were i a CSR. if the duel occured first, then i would do nothing.

If I was the BH I'd be pretty pissed. It's not an exploit, but... It's not cool to steal the BH's kill like that either.

its not really cool to attack another player in the middle of the duel or to make them lose xp either

Premium pearls dont exist anymore what a load of crap , what about all the ADK'd ones PRE-CU jedi have. It makes me laugh listening to you all talk crap about this when none of you were there and witnessed what happened.

These two jedi who were "alegedly" dueling were both in the same guild. I was fighting the Jedi with no outside interference for a good 5 minutes. Then when im about to kill him, he roots me , moves out of my range and towards his friend, who then incaps him and d/b him, your telling me this want intended and was a fair move?

If you have to ask if it's an exploit, this means that you recognize that it is somehow circumventing the normal rules of the game, thus it is an exploit.

Ok, for those of you throwing the examples of rancors or pikets whatever. If one of those were to aggro and do the db on a jedi mark it is completely different than dudes buddy throwing the db on him. They are AI mobs, not a person doing the action for the simple reason of screwing the BH over. They are not "rescuing" the jedi they way this guy's friend did. The mark disengaging and falling back to his friend so that his friend can prevent the xp loss is a load of crap. I don't care what you think, the fact is with all of the changes made to the bh/jedi system to prevent outside interferance, there is no way anyone should see this as a legit move.

As far as the dude saying taking the xp isn't cool, what rock do you live under? This is part of the game working the way they meant it to. That dueling db during a bh/jedi engagement is not. what these two did is just cheap as hell. You oh so righteous people applauding it, saying the bh got what he deserved, it's disgusting. This is using an inintended bug, that I am willing to wager will be fixed soon, because of this exact thing here. How many jedi do you think will use this to thier advantage? How many had no idea to do it til now, the complaints will just escalate, and will require a fix before too much longer. I have said my peace on this, you all tear each other shreds over sh|t that is obviously borked.

The battle between a jedi and a BH is intended to be 1 on 1. Anything done that disrupts that 1 on 1 is not working within the intended process. Doing something intentionally that is not within the intended process of the 1 on 1 is an exploit. If he DBed you knowing he shouldn't (we know he knew he was in the wrong) then yes it was an exploit.

Rule of thumb is this. If you have to ask if its an exploit...it most likely is.

Not quite True. 3 BHs can get the Same Jedi mission (not probable, but it IS POSSIBLE, and within the intended process). So when a Jedi gets 2 BHs after him it's not 1 on 1, and therefore is not an intended process.

Oh, wait. That is cool because it's the Jedi that get the short end of the stick, not the BH (which by the way, 1 gets the DB....other is out of luck).

This was an exploit.I was the bounty hunter, Every time I goto this area of LOK I have trouble with you guys , your all abusive. I was watching you for a good five minutes before i strook you and you was not dueling anyone, or if you was , they certainly wasnt doing any damage to you. You and your friends were spamming me with group invites and doing anything you could to stop me killing you.

Ive lost all respect for anyone from that area as this is not the first time its happened, and i rarely had any trouble with any other jedi, only ever seem to have trouble when I goto "mos timothy V" on LOK. Ive had many of fights and killed full templates. If you ask me youexploiters/cheaters spoil the game.

well maybe you should stop hunting them if you dont want to deal with them. i swear some of you bhs have a lot of nerve, you think if a jedi does anything but lay down and die for you it isn't fair. you were outsmarted, your the one that chose to come to them, your the enemy expect to be abused, a player is supposed to do whatever he can to stay alive.
