Probots are not "gimpy"

With 5 of my 40% armor probots out they can be one mean killing machine!

And yes, you can call out all your droids at one time...takes me less than 10 mins to pull em all ou

I am not a DE, so forgive me for my ignorance.
I do have a question for you Droid Engineers though; the Creature pets have been weakened and I was wondering if you guys had heard anything about being able to make Combat droids any time soon.

We can still make probots, They are very close in lvl with a non ch pet now. Good Droid Engineers can make probots with medium armour with 40% resists which can give them an advantage over non ch pets. However they are not repairable, u simply have to store them and wait for the ham to recharge. There are no stim packs for droids.

Now according to rumor and devs, we may be looking at some sort of combat droids in January so lets all cross our fingers.

for a way around the lack of healing you can have 2 or 3 probots in your datapad and swap them between missions (if you've got scout skills). a probot doesn't take too long to fully heal (since most of its tanking ability is in the armor not the HAM) so 2-3 usually does the trick, plus each one can be made with a level 6 item storage, giving you 20-30 storage spaces as well.

So whats the rule with DE pets then, at the moment i can have one faction pet and one ch pet out at the same time, if i got a probot thingie could i have them all out at the same time (ie.3 pets) or would i still be stuck with just the two pets

O and one other thing is there any guide's showing you all ther diferent kinds of droids DEs can make, to be honest i would like a a droid (very star warsie :smileyvery-happy but i dont really know any thing about them, is there any droids that could be useful to a smuggler ?

Thx for any help

Cheers )))

Yeah you can have all 3 out at the same time.

Droids have their own pet counter. Currently everyone is limited to ONE droid out no matter what else they have out.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but why not allow Droid Engineers to create combat droids. Of course the droids will be of different levels and the better models would likely need a character with a high amount of leadership to keep it in line. Hence, how about adding a Droid Control Level to the Squad Leader Profession. The higher the Squad Leader tree you are the harder the droid you control. Very similar to the Creature Handler Profession.

I think this would help out with two Professions that people seem to be complaining about.

I also posted this on the Droid Engineer Forum. How about giving a Droid Control Level to the Squad Leader Profession. Of course the droids would be built by Droid Engineers. The higher level SL you are the higher level droid you can control. Something similar to the Creature Handler profession. This could be a partial solution to fixing two professions that people seem to be complaining about.
