TANKS is right.

Personally I don't get it. We run greater risks then any other profession. We don't know what kind of Jedi we're hunting till we've already accepted their mission, with these new missions we don't even know what kind of NPC we're off to fight. Like the DEVs have said in the past, "the greater the risk the greater the rewards."and besides for the most part we can't even use this newloot without getting assistance from another profession {this is how it should be} Alass, I think some non Bounty Hunters are getting the wrong idea about what we have top go through to get this loot. So lets listthe stepswe have to dofor huntingone of these new NPC missions;

1. We have to pull a mission (no big, every combat profession does this)


2. We spend a droid to get the location of where our mission is (is there another profession that has to do this?)


3. We then have to travel and chase our target hoping that they don't run in to deep water and end our mission for us (I know no other profession has to deal with this)


4. When we finaly get to our target we have to double check the target to see if our level 80 mission has a CL80 or CL82 double elite NPC to fight (some of these double elites are harder to fight then PvPing someJedi)


5. Then after all that we run a gamble with the loot tables to see if we get; (A) credits (B) jar of bug/berries (C) CA/AA (D) crystal (E) a slicing piece or Armor schematic [which we have to give to another profession to use] or (F) a combination of any of the above choices

If the other Professions what to run through all of this to have a chance at some good loot, then I hope they get their chance. Then I can sit back and watch them cry about how hard these missions are, and so-on and so-forth.

One final thought, Bounty Hunters are one of the biggest buyers of good in the game. We have to buy weapons, armor, foods, meds, slices, and vehicles on a regular basis. Yet many times we have been shuned from many player cities, and outcasted by many more player. So now that we can take some time out to help put goods into the game we have to deal with cries of nerf. I don't care where you're from, being a Bounty Hunter isn't easy.

/sigh I swear some people just want stuff to fall into their lap w/o moving a finger.

Maybe a possible increase in good loot depending on if their minions, lieutenants, or boss's

Was there really any point to this post? You're so vehemently defending the loot system because you can loot uber stuff with it, they're not gonna nerf it, so don't get your panties in a bundle. Not everyone is even calling for a nerf.

You cannot blame the rest of the SWG community for being pretty ticked that for months they've been telling us "loot sucks right now for particular elite mobs and regular mobs alike because it requires an across the board revamp" then they go and change the whole BH NPC system to drop uber loot, meanwhile Krayts don't even drop what they are supposed to drop, The Gorax, NS Elders, High level FS mobs are giving you "You find nothing of value on the corpse" 9 times out of 10.

As for the lightsaber and second character slot thing, you already know that you don't work as hard for a regular profession, including BH, as you do for a Jedi, so just give up that weak argument. If you want an extra character and to swing the lightsaber do the grind and stop whining.

Do I think the elite system should be nerfed at all? No. Do I think it's BS that they didn't just do a loot revamp along with BH Boss misions instead of making loot work for ONE profession, yes.

This is not a Jedi issue, this is an SWG looting issue.

You see.. my char has been in existance since launch.. never been a crafter as I have no interest and grinding missions is slow money

I have NEVER seen more than 8 million on this account at any one time.. now if you.. getting 12 million.. 6 million.. in 2 days of looting probably solo.. thats just lame cause If I want those kinds of credits it would require me becoming a BH.. which I really dont want to do

So those of us that dont want to become a crafter/BH get shafted credit wise due to no other way to solo and get high end loot that fast

You playing the same game as the rest of us? Look up your local AFK Loot Macroer every server has a bunch, and see what they are making. Honestly for playing 2 years just because you can't save up any credits doesn't mean anything let alone you don't even play a bounty hunter so how do you base any of your numbers of 6-12m in two days?

Seriously its people like you with no clue to other proffesions calling for nerfs is why the game is so screwed up.

this is so simple not even worth all the Bs you want chance to loot "uber" loot from mission NPC become BH you want to be jedi grind jedi you want to be smuggler grind smuggler you want to own in PVP ( win duels) grind CM

I'm sorry but I just have to say this:

If you don't like the fact that your prof (fencer/swordsman/Jedi......) doesn't get mission like this its really quite simple. Don't play as a (fencer/swordsman/Jedi....).

I mean Jedi have an alt which they could make BH if they want the loot, and every other proff can change. And if you don't want to change go whinge in your own forum about getting better loot. I worked long and hard to master BH and it annoys me greatly that as soon as anything good happens to one proff every other cries nerf like a bunch of babies when what they should do is ask the devs what they are going to do about their own proff.

I only read the first post in this thread cuz I'm lazy lol. I've seen first hand the complaining coming from Jedi already about the loot we're getting. WTH is thier friggin problem or anyones problemfor that matter? The Jedi are just whiny babies who think only they should get the loot, proof being that a lot of jedi whined and cried all weekend cuz I wouldn't give them the jedi CA's i looted... yes thats right, they wanted me to GIVE them away. I just told them "CRY SOME MORE JEDI NOOBS". If they want them, they can use thier alt to become BH or be like everyone else and friggin buy them. If other players want cool loot, then go out there and get it. You can get almost all the same stuff by killing night sisters and other hig level npc's. Tanks please don't let the whiny jedi get our loot nerfed.

I looted some killer power cells and made an unbelievable weapon and with all the smuggler pieces I think the jedi are now afraid because we will have powerful weapoins and killer sliced armor that they won't beable to kill us in 3 sots. Geez the jedi might have to actually fight and defend themselves. Leave us BH alone and stop crying about our loot. No one believed me when i said pre-pub 21 that jedi would whine and cry to try and get our loot nerfed. well to all those people I have to say I TOLD YOU SO.

Excuse me, but prior to CU BHs could not solo Nightsisters, or Gorax, or Krayts or Acklayfor loot.A lot of you other combat professions could do that.

I did not hear crafters complain that a Rifleman/TKM (or other templates)was able to loot any high level mob in the game prior to CU. Now that the BH NPC marks are worth doing, and loot is dropping I do not understand the complaints.

Heck, I saw complaints even on the Jedi forums. They seem to forget that they get a second character slot on the same server. Should we lobby for everyone to get that or have it removed? Fencers and Swordsman would love to have access to Lightsabers as well. .

Also, a lot of the posts I have seen here give the impression that the drops are uber on a regular basis. I have run about 20 missions so far (about 5 hours). All I have gotten were Smuggler slicing components and a few BH armor schems. I have yet to loot ANY CAs.

However, if people are running BH missions for HOURS at end, the law of averages will catch up and if anything is droppable, it will drop. I do not think that is bad considering the amount of time and effort involved. You got a much better return on your investment of time, and effort hunting Krayts or Nightsisters or Acklayprior to CU.
