This is a false statement of law. Contracts of indefinite duration are enforceable. Furthermore, a party to a bilateral contract does not get to decide unilaterally how to "interpret" the contract's duration.
Good Job Viski. You will not be banned. Anyone who tells you diffent is just syaing it to get you all bothered and scared. Jedi's most likely speaking from anger.
Don'r fret son, you did a good job.
The jedi would probably need to have saved the chat logs.
No proof, no crime.
If they don't have evidence they can't ban you.
If they do have evidence, they'll think about it, and probably think hard. They have to grant *some* freedom from the rules if they want more paid months from ya... to that end I have witnesses more than 50 Jedi (some of which were actually Jedi groupies, and not Jedi yet themselves) breaking codes of conduct yet none have been banned.
Personally, I take the path of least resistance. If he offered me money I would refuse and keep camping. If he offered it to me, but gave it to me without me giving a single word of acceptance on the deal, heck I'd keep it and kill him. Really it's whatever you decide. There are few things that SOE would dare take someone to court over though - due to lost money and excess fear of customers (who wants to play a game by people who sue players- and quite possiblywith insufficient evidence, not to mention the fact that they don't know the circumstances of each event and so don't understand how to rate the offense...), so all in all it depends on what you're willing to risk as far as your account standing with SOE. ![]()
