You only need force run if you are going to be a jedi. If not dont bother, survival isnt so important.
how can u get force run if u are not jedi? LOL
So, no it isn't needed but it's really up to you and your style of play.

or anybody else, lol
Couldn't find anything on the forums but after last night playing around with my jedi on TC Valcyn was wondering (didn't really get to kill anything was waiting for my message that i could start knight trials again, lol).
Is Improved Force Run still reducing Dmg?
If so then how can one use Regular Force Run i couldn't find it anywhere in the Commands?
And If we can't use Regular FR after obtaining Improved FR then what would be the point of having Improved FR?
When Specials are upgraded do we loose the ones before them?
It is a general issue with the CU really. When you get a new, "improved" skill, you can no longer use the old one. SonGouki has said that he has raised this as a big concern for Jedi because many of our advanced skills cannot only be seen as an improvement. So SonGouki is on the issue - as always.
Personally, I think it a problem for non-Jedi too, although perhaps not as much. But if the action/mind cost are higher for an advanced skill, there may still be times where you would want to use the lesser skill. This is just another proof that the devs don't think things through - not even when it should be obvious even on paper.

Damage is still nerfed with force run 2 at the moment.
Force run 2 replaces force run 1.
SonGouki raised the issue to the devs concerning that and our specials (we might want to do non area versions of saber throw, etc).
Yes, I think the rule for the devs should be the following:
An "improved" skill should only replace a basic skill if using the skill is an improvement under all circumstances. Specifically this means that
- The disadvantages of using the improved skill (action/mind/force cost, dmg reduction, delay, etc.) must be less than or equal to the disadvantages of using the basic skill.
- The advantages of using the improved skill (action/mind/force cost, damage, speed, etc.) must begreater than or equal to the advantages of using the basic skill.
It really is just common sense.

If Iassume the same thing is happeningwith force armor 1 and 2, would I be correct?
Yes
