You cannot make an MBH template that is "as good or better" than a Jedi template. Jedi have better weapons, better abilities, better weapons specials, better armor ... in every single way. A full template Jedi at the top of his game will always beat a bounty hunter at the top of his game.I've heard that there are pure melee templates that can fight a Jedi to a draw, but fighting one of those guys and losing will NEVER result in XP loss.
I dont think jedi have better weapons maybe some do but most are stuck with crappy sabers unless they have silly amounts of cash thanks to the Devs nerfing crystals and pearls.
IN my 4th gen I havent got a pearl under 100 and I still get outdamaged by a decent level normal class toon.
The only thing we did have was heal but that was taken away.
Armour maybe but Aura is only equivalent to COB, only difference being that we can fire it up when moving, that and healing while KD are the only things we have.
You forget the main thing tho.
We have a force bar that goes very very quickly when using these abilities, a MCM/MBH can heal all day long, a jedi cant
When there's pvp with credits involved, there has to be loss on the other side. If there were no xp loss, a ton of Bh and Jediwould gettogether to make free money. There has to be some loss on the Jedi side in order for it to be viable in this game. Otherwise it would be exploited.

How do you figure we don't? Our weapons, our armor, all our stuff decays simply bu using it. I go against a Jedi and my armor is gonna take a pounding? What happens to their force armor? What happens to their sabre? Oh that's right, nothing.
And us BHs are at the disadvantage in both defense and offense compared to a jedi.
Seriously you Jedi are smoking some really good stuff cause you really lose jack and squat.
As it stands, Finished Template Jedi have NOTHING to lose. They're no longer grinding, why would they need XP? XP Loss, combined with BH's ability to hunt Jedi, was supose to keep them in check... but due to the Dev's soft-spot for Jedi's crying, we all know how that turned out...
The FACT is, Jedi are OVERPOWERED. Not so much overpowered as a profession, but overpowered because of their numbers. There are more than likely more Jedi running around on any given server than there are of any other profession (besides BH maybe).
Since Jedi ISN'T that hard to obtain, they shouldn't be held above all other professions as an alpha class. Bring them down to par to other professions in all aspecs... Grind and damage. Maybe if there were still aroudn 100 Jedi on any server I would see them worthy of being an alpha class... but now there are 600+ Jedi on any server... on my friends list alone I have 550-some Jedi.
Jedi as a single player is 1.5x more powerful than your average run-of-the-mill BH. Jedi as a community are OVERPOWERED compared to your community of BH's, Rifleman, Pistoleers, and so on. Due to their high-numbers, they cannot be allowed to be an alpha class anymore.
Under these reasons, I'd be glad to see XP loss gone... and I'd be glad to see their grind cut down to normal profession's grind, and their power "nerfed" down to any other Profession's power. Then and maybe then we could get on with the GCW again.

1. Jedi is waay to easy as it is. No need to make it easier.
2. Whats the point of hunting jedi if you don't make em lose exp
i can do with that if the tables are the same for bh if a bh dies to jedi 3 times or fails 3 missons they get permadeath also.
