I didn't know that people were banding together this greatly. Thanks to all of you guys out there working hard on this. If I had the few Gigs on my computer to allow TC5 I would join in cause I really want us to find out how speed works. If its not finished being figured out by when the CURB is released I will be joining in with you guys to figure this out.
I have to say, I have been a rifleman and a dov for a very long time. I have patroned both forums a lot. Riflemen are far more organized and helpful to one another than the doctor community. There is very little bickering that goes on here. It really is inspiring to find people who don't know one another merely brought together by a common profession working hand in hand and being friends for the betterment of the entire profession. From what I have seen, there are a few people like that in the doctor forums, but nowhere near as many as people are here.

i would say that it is logarithmic and not linear......linear wouldn't make any sense.

After playing around for a bit in the CU it seems speed isn't as an important detail as it once was. MBH+MS I was shooting with carbines/rifles/ pistols at about 1.5. The special timers seem to be slower than I can fire anyways. Thoughts?

has it been figured out yet what the caps are for speed? I know there are many factors that influence this but for an example here is my template:
MBH
MR
Pistoleer 0204
Combat Prowess 0400
Enhanced Reflexes 0400
general ranged acc. +195
rifle acc. + 85
total +280
general ranged speed +67
rifle speed +65
total +132
+6 rifle speed AA +138
+2 general ranged speed AA +140
ok given my template and modified speed, it seems as if I would be able to add another +17 to rifle speed/general speed. Would this be necessary or is +140 so near the cap that it wouldnt' be beneficial?

Thers is no real cap. however anything above 150 reduces your speed by an almost negilgable amount.

Hi
I want to really find out what is going on with speed, ive been through the back catalogue of this forum and done searches, havent found much conclusive material
So i wondered if anyone could tell me and the community a few things which they are SURE about. (or near enough :smileyvery-happy
We are talking about jedi here. So...
1) Is speed bugged in anyway? Either 1/2/double speed or general melee speed. Are they working properly
2) How does General melee speed affect how fast you hit? Is it the same as 1/2/double ls speed?
3) Are SEA's working properly?
4) Should General melee speed and ls speed be affecting cooldown timers?
5) Are cooldown timers meant to look at your modified damage? and are they doing so?
Answers to these questions would be very handy. Also add anything else if it needs to be said about speed. Thanks in Advance

well i heard lots say its bugged, but on occasions when its gone realy slow, i have emptied the saber, closed windows off then re-added crystals/pearls and the speed returned. doesnt always work but does sometimes
