Thread: Ultimate Template (non MCM): MBH/MR, Improved Stopping Shot and >1000 heals every 5 secs? YES!

Or if you have CM 4000 then use the advanced bacta spray that doesn't require a target, plus it doesnt make you stop running to do it.

I'm pretty sure you can use bacta shot while running. And as others have mentioned, a "/bactaShot self" macro solves the targeting issues.
Beside dude, you're missing the point:
+1000 heals and root and Master Rifles
You can't do that with a CM 4xxx template
Didn't you catch the title of the thread?

Great in theory, however, you simply dont have enough sp if you trained only 1 box of fs stuff from the village like I have
I wish to god the village didn't wasted 24 sp on skills you cant even use as a jedi....wt*???!!!!
FS Melee Defense.... FS Ranged Defense..... FS Melee Accuracy..... FS Melee Speed..... and then Persuasion, Luck, or Vehicular Control.

Well I want to keep my Master Carbineer. Can I be just as effective with MBH/MC/Pistols x/x/x/3 and Medic x/x/2/x with +25 healing attachement and be just as effective as a Master Rifleman. What do you guys think?
I'm in the same boat. I'd like to be keeping either Master Pistoleer with this template combination or Master Carbineer....I don't much care for Rifleman. It seems to me that this template would be effective despite what mastery you choose.
I'm bookmarking this thread and I'm very interested in following what you guys who have set up for this template say, and come up with in testing. This is fabulous ![]()
Nice job!

Eat my ass. The post-CU combat system encourages and rewards dabbling. Why else would they make special attacks work with all weapons?

Bacta toss enhancers are currently useless. Publish 19 introduced a new auto target feature where the game would /target your attacker if he hit you. As you currently need to target yourself to use a bacta toss enhancer, this makes it impossible to use one effectively in combat.
I tried the following macro:
/target self
/ui action toolbarSlotXX (the bacta toss enhancer)
/tar (markname here)
this is what happens in combat:
- you target yourself
- your mark hits you
- you auto target your mark
- your bacta toss fails with the error 'invalid target'
- you die because you can't heal yourself in time
- your mark laughs at you for being a noob
A workaround isnot using bacta toss enhancers as you do not need to target yourself to do an unenhanced toss. This means you can only heal for 700 with bacta toss instead of the 1k+ from the enhancer
My suggestion would be to not even bother with bacta toss for two reasons. One it will root you for a couple of seconds while it goes through the bacta toss animations and this isn't something you'd want happening whenever you're trying to run for your life. Secondly is that the standard bactashot heals for much more than bactatoss (even compares with the enhanced bactatosses) and you can use it while running. You can also use Bacta Spray enhancers to heal yourself on the run for more than the standard bactatoss ability. I'd much rather alternate between bacta shot/spray than ever have to relay on bacta toss.

My sentiments exactly. If I am a master of an elite or hybhrid profession that alone doesn't qualify me as a dabbler. By that analysis most jedi on this board are dabblers since their templates consist of a line here,a line there and maybe one master skillbox. They aren't dabblers, their just using whatever skills fit their particular fighting style. These comments I hear about dabbling sound like someone who gets owned in pvp.
Right on bro. All I really wanted to do was to tell someone to eat me ass on the forums.

I support giving Master Carbineer a decent special.
