Thanks for this summary! It's really nice to have all the info in one place!

"I set foot on Naboo, and I was horrified - Rebels everywhere! The insurgents had taken over the planet! Something would have to be done. I rolled up my sleeves and set to work. My goal? End the rebel dominance of Naboo. And I had a plan..."

So far 90% of the threads I read are people wanting their chosen proffessions to be better. But dont complain about it, because you know that it wont change overnight.

Seriously. If you don't like it change. It really is that simple.

I feel the effectiveness of fencer has been seriously reduced in this CURB, but I dont whinge about it.I just change.

I have respeced to MBH/MR, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I might havegone that route anyway.I'm gratefull for the opportunity to switch proffessions and try new things out.

I will hunt any jedi I come across and I wont feel bad about it. Because if I were to become jedi I would expect the same.

If its in the game, its fair game.

If as a padwan you can be hunted (because the game allows it). Fair game.

If the game allows multiple BH's to hunt single Jedi's. Fair game.

If you're a jedi and you go AFK in public. Fair game.

If you're a jedi and you are nearly dead or out of force while hunting, and a BH comes and 'one shot' kills you. Fair game

After all, the game allows these things to happen.

Under these circumstances wouldnt it make achieving Jedi Knight, or Jedi master all the more rewarding?

I get to play galaxies only a few hours per month. If I had the time to dedicate to it, I too would become Jedi and suffer the pitfalls. I dont want to title of Jedi, just because I pay a monthly subscription.

I dont know much about exploits in relation to this subject, but from a moral point of view I would not use them and I would encourage others not to as well. (Unless I dont like you, then you're having it!)

^ comlpetely agree with that...i mean come on jedi cant complain about anything. they are stronger do more damage...are faster than swoops and a master defender is god. being hunted by BH should make jedi more willing to reach the master status.

and yea graet sticky...i keep getting these annoying /tells from ppl that respeced to MBH and dont know wat a droid is. this should solve the problem....hopefully.....

I am MBH and Jedi.

I too, agree with all of the above, except for your assumptions about Jedi . I also don't understand the comment about monthly subscriptions and Jedi- pls clarify.

Know this: They do not do more damage, they are not faster. With the combat upgrade they are killed in 3 secs with knockdown and root.I have force run(4000) and I cannot outrun the knockdowns and roots. Tried force cloak- it's busted.I have to switch toa rifle with what little rifleman skill I have left. I cant stay off the boards anymore because I can't hunt alone. All of the Jedi skills you describe used to be a nice balance to the grouped BHs, and all of the other BH shenanigans - it used to be about the best player winning.

As MBH I can't bring myself to hunt jedi now. There is absolutely no challenge to it.

I am not going to complain about respec noobs and jedi whiners, or talk about professions I know nothing about to justify why we should all "like change". It's not about the players, it's about the game and whether the professions we chose are challenging and playable, and not impossible, due to bugs and flaws.

I do believe that eventually things will be fixed, with our feedback.I don't think things willbe fixed if we engage in "corporate team speak"about how we all "don't like change"....

Tanks makes me sick to encourage griefing the remainging Jedi knowing dang well that everyone has respec'd BH and once you kill a jedi you basically set him back months in this current system. Think what you want but this type of encouragement is totally sad in everyway.

SOE planned that everyone go BH and ppl like Tanks to send them for the Great SOE Jedi purge after were gone BHs will be nerfed bigtime.

Maybe the worst post ever from start to end.The yellow is what I found to be the funniest and inaccurate out of it all, although there was so much to choose from I could be wrong

Try not to flame someone who's job it is to infor the prof. that he is "in charge" of informing. Especially when in the last two weeks we have gone through double xp week, 1 hit getting full xp, droids not working on wookiee world and the end to XP loss in PvE death.

While I don't agree with jedi needing to group to xp and get Vis at the same time there are plenty of places to go grind xp in a group and have almost no chance of getting hunted by BH, you just have to be SMART.

I have been away from the game for nearly a year and I came back this week. I had played the game from launch. My main started as a weaponsmith, then I tried architect, and after that I started over and worked through Master Scout, Master Marksman, and got into the BH tree. Before I left, I was a 2,1,3,2 BH and after I respec'ed I'm a 3,3,4,4 with some points in both Carbineer and Pistoleer. I wanted to work through at least the last box of investigation (I figured having to master scout and marksman before justified my respec'ing Inv 3). Anyway, I could've been a respec MBH, but I wanted to work through it since I had done all that work before....plus, I enjoy it.

Funny thing about the "noob" padawan is that if they are smart they are still very dangerous to attack. One of my characters will be doing the trials right after phase change. I have 27 skill points to use leveling, and i am currently master swords, master fencer, and master brawler (along with master combat prowess). I dont fear duels, i finish them relatively unscathed. I welcome the unsuspecting BH that stumbles across my mission. The name is Caos.....and respect will be paid......

Ok probably gonna get flamed but o well, Listening to all the jedi whining has made me WANT to respec to MBH just to kill them. It is funny to me how how in the world of starwars this is exactly what happend. All the jedi where hunted down and killed. There are not suppose to be 100 jedi running around anyway during this time period. So I say Kill them ...Kill them all....Then Kill them again....

My Jedi is CL 60. I do almost 500 points of damage with gen 4 lightsaber with pearls. Against CL 80 BH, I'm fodder. Go ahead. Kill me. -5 million in the hole and will never make JK. I can only play a few hours per week. At the current rate of xp gain, I should get out of the hole in the year 3054. Oh well. On the brightside, I did kill an Eopie, once. Darn thing bit my leg off though.

^^----This highlights my point.

Why should people who only play a few hours per week expect the rewards of jedi rank? What makes you think you deserve to? Is it because you pay your subs every month?

/sarcasm on

I can only playa few hours PER MONTH! Make me a jedi Knight!!!

/sarcasm off

The title Jedi knight should be a reward for people who put in hours and hours of hard work, in spite of being hunted.

I got this quote from another forum today:

" If you want to be a Jedi right out of the box, go play KOTOR instead"

I find it fitting.

Well, facts are facts...

We know that jedi were hunted to extinction. We know most people will want to become jedi just for the feel of hearing the light sabre, the fun of being able to shoot lightning, and most people are force sensitive already; it is a plan in the back of their mind... an inevitable event which is destined to be; regardless of whether they doggedly pursue it or whether it is a casual undertaking.

Given these facts, there will always be jedi as long as sony has customers. Even if it means they are gimped; after all i get a second slot at padawan. Given that by the time you have made the leap to jedi, you have already arsefooked your template every which way but lose... rerolling a completely NEW character is actually a blessing. A breath of fresh air!

I hate to sound pitiless, I really do. But I have found that usually when I leave a game, it isnt when im red-hot pissed off... its when im straight up cold ass bored.

Now, i dont know the state of jedi-ness xp, but i helped a group of them today while exping up my elite boxes, so i can respec to fine tune things a little better... we appeared to be moving along fine, and even though im a rifleman/bh (CL75, have all the boxes that count), these guys were tearing through things on par with myself... yet... they are simply beginners, they were not even close to knights.

A testament to the power of the force.

Now,i gained 4 boxes in 2-4 hours; thats too fast.I would probably enjoy jedi, since each box would take a little time to get to know.

My only consolation when I finally decide to go ganknasty and collect 200k (which by the way im returning after 6 months away, im ass broke, I need the payout at this point- I am quite literally the starving desperado; there is no market for a hunter without any meat to sell) ... will be that I can root the sucker. I may have to destroy his bike when he isnt looking just to ensure he doesnt ride off.

After that it should be an academic ganking... given that he hasnt noticed i disabled his bike;wait till my mark is engaged, you know... when the gurks are leapin' around 'cause they got cocky and pulled like3 or more. The emperor cackles loudly,my patience has been rewarded, I his humble servant have come with silent step, and blackened heart... to do the nefarious deed, and reap the harvest of destruction, where seeds of confusion once existed.

Sniper shot from flat ground at80m... quickdraw,root... critical, torso, critical, torso... confuse, kd ... critical, torso.Run up, db.

Of course, an attentive doc in the group may put my little plan on ice, but im not quite sure how the aggro and rules work yet. For now it is only a planned fantasy.
