That must be why I haven't seen alot of BH's, they're still stuck on the 'buy some tracker droid' part.

What happens when the Devs plan to have the galaxy cleansed to "balance" out the force. The way its going now, well have so many jedi running about keeping everyone from going special forces like hoardingsheep in their pen,lets call the new expansion rage of the bounty hunters and have a huge war between BH and Jedi,Doesn't that seem nice?

Umm, just another note for newb BH's and a shout out to a nice guy on Bria.


A long time ago on a server with a location unknown to me(far far away, maybe?)I startedthe Master Pistol, BH pistols, Smuggler Dirty Fighting, Novice Commando line to get all of the Pistol Specials and Pistol Certs. This of course wasbefore I found out that you can't win a Knife fight if you bringGun.........?


When I started Novice BH I asked a Rodian BHnamed 'Twitch' some advice on how to use the terminals and Spynet Ops. He proceed to tell me that in order to help me I must defeat him in one-on-one combat. Okay, so it goes. (equip DX2) Low Blow, HealthShot 2, Healthshot 1, BleedShot,(Dude gets up), Pistol Melee Dense 1, Bleed Shot, Bleed Shot, Double Tap, Double Tap. By the second Bleed shot the guy is out cold with3 to 5Bleeds. After he stops bleeding he shows me around the BH terminals and Spynet Ops in Mos Eisley.


The whole time this person is role playing it to the hilt. He never did mention that while I landed themultiple bleeds and two knock downs that he only got off like two shots.


Anywany, the point of the story is: If you are going to Respec MBH don't spam for help like a Noobjust ask someone, maybe send a shout if you think you can get some help that way, one shout not twenty over and over again in front of the Starport. If you ask someonenicely you might have a unique and rewarding experience.


( I am going to beguilty of respecing BH into my template since the CURB nerfed MSuggler, TKM, MPistoleer and TKM, MSmuggler, Fencer 40000(my fav). Now I am respecing TKM, MSmuggler,Novice BH (or Medic 0440, Novice CM.Instead of BH)

I'm grinding my FS and i'm a old BH. Blame on SOE because they designed the game system, no the BH's.


Everybody knows if you want to be a jedi you will have BH's after you and as I as remember in the game system, they will be gang by more than one BH. At least jedi have no more permanent dead after 3 kills.

My wife Ket and I only hunt Jedi who openly flaunt skills or wear robes in front of starports. If we see you do this then you go on our enemy list (friends list). Then we take time to track to see what you do aka guild, rank, and get all the details before we both go to term and track you individually until we find the planet you are on. Then from oposites sides of the planet we both come to your location. After this we are here to collect. We will drop your bounty and pay our employer if you pay us the amount of 150k and let u keep xp, otherwise we take you the harder more profitable way. If you do not wear the robes or ever show your skills around where they can be seen by PCs we know you will never make our list.

THIS is exactly the type of thing I've wanted to do, and probably could do now thanks to the CU, since before BH's wer over powered, etc, etc, you know the whole thing. Now, I'm happy I havn't dropped BH. . .but I'm most likly going to be quitting soon, my reasons I won't mention because: A.) This is not the place for it and B.) No one really cares .


Any way, it's good to know BHs have gotten some love, and this is almost enough to make me choose to stay. I'm still teetering on leaving or not....but anyway. . . .

I am not a BH nor am i jedi. nor do i want to be either, what with all the whinneing and bad feeling on both sides of the line. I am however a Master doc, master swordsman. and i make quite a bit of coin off both dead jedi (not wanting to lose that extra chunk of exp to the clone machine and also to dead BHs (who bite of more than they can chew. the only thing that irks me about the whole thing is our hunts being interupted when some BH comes in and whacks one of our party. part of this i realize is due to said jedi being one of the idiots waving his saber around or using force heals at the starport trying to look cool. the rest is due to SOE and its "visibility" and the current need to hunt in groups for any meaningfull exp whatsoever. but the forcing everyone to hunt together and then penalizing a class for it just seems kind of shortsighted on the devs part.


the other thing i think is kind of odd, if we are comparing this game to the state of the galaxy in the time its supposed to take place, somewhere between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, in the prequel movies planets like Tatooine were not even part of the Old Republic, did not even use republic money, were in fact run by "The Hutts". from what i understand Lok was even farther out in the outerrim someplace. place far apart and far form the "core Worlds" yet if im reading this post right, a BH can use this terminal and a couple of droids to track down a "mark" be it NPC or Jedi, to whereever they happen to be in the whole galaxy, instantly. no lag, or not much. instand comunication of this tiny amount of very specific data. now thats some pretty fancy com gear. no wonder vader managed to whakc all those jedi. he just had to log into the Holo-internet and there they were, bio-tagged and read to be whacked. seems the BHs have it pretty easy. I think the Bhs should have to actually use some of that investigation skill they are so concerned with and maybe this informant thing should not give them info on where the Mark IS but rather where the mark WAS a certian time before. like maybe an hour before or maybe when they logged on. then go to that planet and track them from there. maybe youwould have to bunr up several sets of droids. but then for that kind of Payout they would still be cleaning up. i say make them work for it. even before they get to try taking this poor noob padiwan down lol.


anyway like i said i clean up either way so its really no biggie. happy hunting all !! :-)

Giv Knights terms to hunt BH who fail on there mark! Seriously BH would this be such a bad thing??? More pvp for u, i also think if a Knight has a Bh mission the Bh friends should get an attack TEF too

I decided to respec to MBH just so I could hunt Jedi, but not because I wanted to greif them. The bounties are much better! All the npc BH missions are only about 32k, but Jedi missions can get a max of 250K or more! I do agree that killing a grinding jedi sux for them though. I don't think it's fair for them to lose jedi xp just for getting killed. I think SOE should do one of 2 things. Either take that particularly nasty xp penalty off the blooming jedi, or make it soJedi ANDbhtakes an xp hit for dying. That would make it fair.


On another hand, Just because I am an MBH doesn't make me a Jedi killing machine. I have lost to Jedi more often than not, and I expected that. Did that stop me from taking MBH? Hell no! And I let the Jedi I am hunting know I am hunting them. I give them a chance to meet the bounty I am being paid, and if they can't afford it, I tel them i will cancel the bounty if they beat me... which is pretty often.


One other thing though. the Jedi knew from the beginning, even before the CU that BHs would be hunting them. If they didn't want to be hunted, they should have not have gone for Jedi in the first place. Yeah MBHs are tough fighters, but when a Jedi becomes a master, s/he can take on pretty much anyone and win. This is the reason for the tough rules on Jedi. If progressing to Master was like everything else, it would be unfair to the rest of the classes.


Anyway, that's my 2 cents worth.

Its good that more ppl go BHbefore i coulnt go to one starport without seeing 3-5 jedis at it NOT ONCE(well maybe1 or 2 times)that show thatthereisto MANY jedis. BH is in the galaxy for one reason....... Make Jedi Proffesion to a REALLY RARE Proffesion.Jediaint special ifeveryone is.


Makes me so freakin angry on how ppl can whine so much on this subject and then im talkin bout both Sides 2.


many bhsaint better than the wining Jedis there is many bhs out there who whine justlike jedis.
