Wait a sec don't you still get saber block? You know that skill which blocks ranged weapons of all kinds despite the type of projectile? I haven't fought a Jedi in a LONG time since I left the game Pre CU so maybe this was taken out... I just remember 80% of my shots NOT getting through. Barney, it has been a long time for you my friend. Yes, jedi get saber block but only at MASTER Sabers is it something like 65%. Jedi who do not have Master Sabers, it is MUCH lower.

Reduce BH damage in all weapons to match jedi

Fine as long as you make our Min 100 less than our Maximum similar to your Light Sabers and make our damage a special type that negates all of your Jedi Defenses. Again Barney, showing your age here too. Jedi sabers do "energy" damage now, not "Light saber", so you Do have resists to Jedi weapons. BHs now have 8100+ energy resist suits that have 75% armor break resists. This is FAR superior to even the best of Jedi innate armor which is 6k and only for MDEFs

Reduce heal times to match jedi

Give BH a Risk for losing to a Jedi ie the person you took the mission from puts a bounty on your head for failing (happens in the real world)

Why? We aren't 1.5X stronger than any other proffession if you want us to be an Alpha class as well as Jedi then I would accpent the XP penalty Barney, read my post a couple of posts above this one. Jedi are most definately NOT 1.5x stronger than a CL80. My post explains why. I will say this however on the BH risk part. If BHs keep insisting that BH and Jedi should be "balanced", then they TOO should share the risk of defeat that jedi do. They also should have to endure a similar length of grind to "unlock" a BH template and length of grind to master it. To be "balanced", by definition, all things should be EQUAL. Currently it is not equal OR balanced. Jedi full temp grind from FS to full temp takes 60 TIMES as much XP and does less damage, has less defense, less attack speed, less healing power as a BH/CM and has a penalty upon death.

Did you actually play in the old days or just read about it? We had armor several types and macros to switch from an unarmored state, to an armored state, and back again to lessen the HAM hits that were so incredibly high with the first sets of armor. Although you can not wear armor you do get very nice defensive bonuses above and beyond what normal proffessions right? Actually no. Again, with the exception of Master Defenders, Jedi ranged and melee defense stats are LOWER than a single master elite BH by a LONG shot. You do not find Jedi with 200+ ranged and melee defense. In most cases, it is half that. In some cases much less.

Why not just give you the "I WIN" button that you want so badly... you could just Mind Trick us to drop dead. Ok, a "Jedi Mind Trick" that allows you some supernatural knowledge of a BH hunting you is just silly, however your response is clearly inflammatory. Bad Barney, bad ;-)

Both BH and Jedi are guilty of exploiting this and many other issues and I agree ANY exploiter should be punished PERIOD.

Let jedi use mind trick to know if your after them Don't have a problem with a Jedi getting a warning tingle from the Force when a BH with their contract lands on the same planet. Makes it harder for the BH, but it gives the Master Powers Jedi an edge. (It should come under Powers, imho)

Yes, I think we should have a CHOICE in being hunted.

The thing I see as a gripe is how damned long it takes to grind a jedi.... & then to be beaten by someone whos been ingame a month.

A level 56 pawadan with a 300 damage saber hasnt a chance in hell.

A jedi cant buy a 700 damage saber off the bazaar.

And after tmw then cant even run away.

Having a BH and a jedi I see the unbalance & its sad.

All weapons can be that level. You need to spend the money to get yours up there.
