Thread: last ditch being used as a first strike -exploit-

So i say, the ability for bh's to use this as a initiating attack is a exploit and needs to be fixed. Flame away if you must.
In addition to the method stated in this post, also beware of combatant IMP BH'ers... I witnessed an IMP BH pull out his factional Stormtrooper pet, slap it to get the instant incap. I thought he was just goofing off like I used to do... but as soon as he stood up, he fired and a female Jedi not to far from me fell, incapped. She was DB'ed before she ever had a chance to draw her saber. If that is not an overpowered exploit, I do not know what is.

no matter what its a 1 shot incap.
And you think 4k damage is uber? Wait till you see an accuracy stacking rifleman using a trando rifle with max damage powerup (only stat that affects the last ditch) after using /advanced aim.
ive seen em do 7k damage in pvp. Not pretty.
It is not the same.
If the fight starts with other attacks, the Jedi actually has a chance to counter a possible Last Ditch. Moreover, it is not a one-shot incap then, since the fight already had a lot of shots
If Last Ditch is used as an opening move, there is no way to counter it, and it is a one-shot incap. And one-shot incaps are not supposed to be in game post-CU, so being able to use Last Ditch as an opening attack has to be a bug.
As I have said earlier - Working as intended.
You had your FD for months and months before the devs 'fixed' it. Now the tables are turning. Lets see if the devs will fix this faster. In the name of equality, I sure hope not.
(Not that I'm useing it, but I'm intrested to see how fast the devs work on things when the BH community asks for something compared to when jedi community does...)

BH's use a bug for an advantage = Tactics
Jedi use a bug for an advantage = Exploit
go figure.
Really the only problem I see with it is if the BH fails at incapping and dies, he loses ZERO. I'm fine with the special since supposedly it can fail BUT if BH's want the ability to just incap without even fighting and earn up 224k,then I say if they fail something needs to be done other than just cloning.
Just because someone outsmarts you doesn't mean they're exploiting. (Unless outsmarting means running into a house after fighting back the BH).

Last Ditch does not incap both players. Last Ditch is working as intended. It's damage output is directly related to how injured the user is.
If the BH is down to low health, and uses Last Ditch, pray that he/she misses, or pray that you block the shot.
It is also inappropriate to label someone as an exploiter when that particular system is working as intended.
