I am amazed at how big this topic has gotten in such a short time..

But alls I have to say is.................. YAAAAY!!!!!!!!

Now I can be a Bounty Hunter and not spend the rest of my days working on survival...

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!


We want MORE CONTENT, not just more skill points.


And by taking away Tracking, aren't you also removing the possibility of HUMANOID TRAPS for BH's?!


And why the heck aren't CAMPS important any more? You guys did a real good job of just completely over-looking those and making them obsolete. The same could be said for the Bounty Hunter's combat ability.

I'm beginning to think this thread is meaningless. Hey JustG, re-title this thread!


Bounty Hunters... what the Devs aredoing Right Now


They don't care about feedback, it's just a clever disguise on this thread. Like so many people have said, the devs have their own agenda for this profession and the game in general. They don't want feedback, they want to force-feed changes. I am now in the camp against thisBH devamp. Not like it matters. SOE is just taking the "father knows best" stance.


Translation of the original post:


"We know BH is borked, so calm down. We don't have the time to fix you guys, we are too busy figuring out how to turn lead into gold with Jedi. Here's a quick change, now all you whiners don't have a leg to stand on! Where's your 217 skill point justification now??" [insert maniacal laughter]

some guy was talking about BH trails, i dunno bout all of them but having a jabba the hutt trials for BH sound pretty cool, lol id doubt the devs would have time, but maybee in the future it could be pretty cool to have a little jabba quest lol would have to put BH skills to the test tho

That's nice, assuming you keep to it being a temporary fix, but you're turning our profession and skill point situation on it's ear. The Jedi had the same done to them with their revamp, and the skillpoints they EARNED were allowed to reapply. So, how about ours? A Bounty Hunter who has used all 250 skillpoints in anything should be quickly and quietly be allowed to reallocate them (assuming he goes Bounty Hunter, although I suppose the choice not to should be left open), a Bounty Hunter who has used 200 should be able to allocate 200, etc. Applying to anyone with Novice Bounty Hunter, who is part of the profession, as a reward for sticking through all this **edit**, as an avoidance of punishing us horribly for putting skillpoints into Bounty Hunter prerequisites and then taking them away, thusscrewing us once again.


So, In Conclusion, Allow us the free reallocation (re:conversion) of our skillpoints when you grant them to us, as a realization that we need them. They're of no use to us if we have to regrind the entire professions to fill their space, and you'll only be benefitting people dabbling INTO Bounty Hunter, not us dabbling (well, really, moving the skillpoints we deserved all along but didn't have) out of it.

I agree that we should be able to reallocate one time when the change goes through. After that, we grind like everyone else, but that first one should be free.


Also, something the devs can do -- PLEASE TURN JEDI SABER / FORCE POWER TEFS BACK ON!!!


Maybe make them active upon hitting Padawan level, so the Force Sensitive ones don't have to worry about it, but right now Padawan can more than handle themselves now. They don't need this added protection.
