While yes it is utterly amazing to see more then.. "we're looking into it." or "It will happen in the CB." response from anyone at SOE, this is not as a cheerfull as some are making it to be.
Lets start with the almost patronizing tone JustG had at the end of every statemen... "..but again not soon enough for you." What is he on? We have been waiting since BETA for some of our current bugs to be fixed. Not soon enough for us, schmuck boy how long do you think we should wait for a bug fix?
Removing Trapping skill from scout is not exactly a good thing here folks.. There goes any arguement we had for Humanoid traps, and they came just short of telling us we will never get them with this action.
Giving us an additional 48 skill points. JustG if you actually read the BH forums once and awhile and read what the actual Bounty Hunters want, is to be made effective for the points we have spent, not get them back so we can become yet another 5 profession dabbler.
If this is actually something that has been in the talks at SOE, why has something, ANYTHING, been mentioned before this? Why did you wait untill the BH community was ready to go Postal on every SOE employee? All of these fixes are a rather simple thing to do, you show that in the time frames you set out "Test Center Tomorrow afternoon.. Live by Friday." Yeah sounds like tons and tons of programming and coding needed here. This seems more like a quick bandaide before you bleed to death.
If you really want to fix us.
1. Fix our Droids.
2. Fix our mission bugs.
3. Fix our mission payouts.
4. Fix our skills so we are effective in combat against our own marks.
5.Add something to LLC in the highend LLC line or Master to increase the effectiveness of the weapon in our hands.
Basically, fix everything that has been broken from Public Day One of the game. I mean it might finally be fast enough for some of us.

Ok I didn't read all of this thread, but here is my opinion. Why are we just getting more skill points? Obviously you are covering a major problem in BH. We have to combine other skills and professions just to be able to maybe deal with a Jedi. The devs have not put their minds together on this one. They make sure Jedi have whatever powerful skills they want. Not only can Jedi be a Jedi they also can combine another profession with it. Imagine geting whooped by a TKM/Jedi. What is the use? How can a BH hunt a Jedi and can't have any resists to the lightsaber at all. And I have also seen how hard Jedi hit when they attack something. I don't know about you guys but when I am buffed to the gill and I see a Jedi can hit for 6k+ for specials, I am going to be concerned. I don't see the use of being a BH then having to add Pistoleer just for defenses. It's a shame how the BH is absent in so many things to make it real. Bug whoops I have an LLC and a scatter pistol. Shoot as pistoleer I can have the DX2 and shoot even harder. Why not make a pistoleer a hunter also or anything else for that matter? How bout a rifleman too? They are so much more powerful and they have so many defenses. I don't know. Don't take this to heart. It's just I need more to BH than just giving me skill points and combine it with another profession. \

Apparently we should havejust given up on BH sooner. This is nothing more than the devs quitting our class. I just wish I didn't wait to start another class in hopes that we would soon be fixed.
A MUCH better idea would be to make the scatter pistol or another weapon MUCH harderto block for the Jedi. Move it to master as well if you want.
