Thread: REALITY CHECK
i dunno about you but i can easily take a single Bh buffed and on muon
Here are a few numbers for ya:
Sony Corporation
Enterprise Value: $36.69 Billion
Cash Flow from Operations: $646,997,000
Gross Profit for the year ending MAR-05: $1,676,928,000
Net Income for the year ending MAR-05: $163,838,000
Tangible Assets for the year ending MAR-05: $2,120,430,000
How concerned about a few upset players in one of their games do you think they are? Anyone making any decisionsis looking at monthly trends... probably new players and total accounts, and a standard cost v. income report -- maybe just the second. As long as those numbers look good, then there will be no dramatic change in operations.
Please don't tell me about "all the people you know are leaving." You don't know the real numbers. Besides, if you and all your friends left the game, it wouldn't register on these reports. Sorry, but in the grand scale of Sony Corporation, Sony Online Entertainment, and even SWG specificaly, the number of smugglers who participate in this forum probably falls within the margin of error when compared to all subscribers. Maybe a bit more, but nothing that is statistically relevant.
Have a nice day. ![]()

But yet we still have a right to complain about crappy service. You gotta love it.
Hear, hear! Absolutely!
I guess I wanted to make about about "protests". If you're tired of the game, don't enjoy it anymore, or find that it brings more frustration than enjoyment, then it is time to retire. I'll be leaving SWG if I reach any of the above. If, however, people are quitting because it will bring attention to the "problem of smugglers", then please stay. Leaving obviously won't do anything except force you to find something else with which to fill your SWG time.
I'm just bitching and moaning until my subscription runs out. If by some miracle they start to communicate with us or change their ways, I may resubscribe.
But I'm not going to hold my breath.
