I'm not usually one to complain about the difficulty, but dayum... those 36K ham Boss marks are now in god mode. Nightsisters are easier thanboss marksare now... even when they use the force aura+ force speed+ force lightning+ force choke + Saber armor breakon you.
I got one down about 1/4 of the way down before I realized that my mind bar was half gone (this was after foods and spice) and decided it was time to break the fight off. Mark kept closing to melee range using a power hammer + armor break. 75% AB sliced armor, and it was still hitting me for 600-1200 per hit. Tried kiting, but it could outrun me even when snared.
Gun is Featherweight FWG-5 damage capped, 68 sac, 1.22 modified speed with a damage powerup. Not the best, but it's not trash. Armor is 7188 Kin 5188 Energy 5288 SP Rebel Assault armor, + PSG. Equipment has +25 Pistol speed +18 ranged Acc +25 Healing Eff, +8 bleed resist, +14 melee def +17 stun resist. Zabrak Msmuggler / MBH / novice commando / medic 0010 + probot with healing module, combat, auto repair. Foods used: Pica Thundercloud, blob candy, spiced tea, kanali wafers, Citros Snow cake, Crispic, Booster Blue. Guess I could go get some steak and that dodge food and try those as well, but that doesn't leave much room in the stomach for the snow cake. Could also try spamming ruby + stims I guess too... Kinda crazy that you'd need all that to kill a stupid NPC though. I've dueled MBH / M carbs / CM 4000's with that template and flattened them.
I could do damage to the mark just fine... it was just the insane damage he dished out while having super health and action regen. I could kill 36k ham boss marks before only healing once or twice and do it in under 2 minutes. That was too easy, but they are a little over the top now.

Good, let's hear about how you handled a double-gold chevron 30K+ mark, maybe you might convince Samous that there's nothing wrong with the NPCs.

Yeah the devs really dont get "happy medium".Tuning up the AI is one thing but a guy on fire, poisoned, diseased, bleading, getiing hit by a droid, a lair of critters, and shot by me for about 1k a hit shouldnt be regeningover half the damamgeI layedon in the duration of a cooldown timer.All it really doesn is draw a fight out. Its like were back to pre-cu where the difference between a Giant Krayt and A juvie was time it took to kill.
On top of that some marks are just bugged or soemthing I had 5 bosses of varoius levels tonight and the worst was agreen conwho was hitting me like a damn tank, He ignored being snared or rooted and was and must have took some food called insta regen.

All i have to say is do the same thing you do when you figure out that the jedi your hunting is more than a lvl 50. ABORT MISSION LOL.
Finally bounty hunter NPC markshave a chance of being stronger than us. YAY
I support this 120% We should not win every time.
We got Master bounty hunters exploiting the squad leader buffs to be overpowerd against jedi and cry when a NPC sends them to the cloner. RISK vs REWARD you want uber loot your going to risk PvE decay on you items. You want more jars of bugs let them revert the AI back to baby mode.
How does your argument to the devs going to look when you say We should get uber loot for BOSS marks but we should be able to kill them every time with no risk.
I use to think the Jedi were the bigger babies untill now. Use your head. Dont ask for NPC nerf ask for states to work so they will be usefull against TUFF bounties like this. Exploit the Squad leader buffs with NPC bounties the same way you are doing against jedi. and demand for your ubber loot when you kill thes unbeatable bounties.

i fought 5-10 of these gold elite tonight, and im almost certain that there allbugged
temp: mrifles, mbh, cm 4000
first mark - positive it was bugged, had 16k health, and it never even hit me once....walked up to me and whipped out a LVA after taking like 3 shots at me, and nothing.....i have my combat tab seperated from spatial, so i can see all that is happening combatwise, all the damage that was done was the damage i was doing. Needless to say, i waxxed him no problem.... keep in mind this was a gold elite boss
second mark and all the rest - hasto be bugged, cuz i have an ALR capped on all stats, speed capped in tapes and whatnot.....i do 750+ dps...so i do like 3k+ damage, and in a second he regenerated it all back. The npc gets up from kd, runs up to me and hits me for around 1k damage (WT..F). I heal and from then on im pretty much on the defensive, due to his crazy damage output and speed, he is hitting me 2 times a second...now, pre patch 24, just two days ago, i took on a lvl 111 solo and did better against it, even tho i still died, i got him down to 1/4 health without him regenerating 3k+ pts per second and he still only hit me for around 400-600 pts per hit....so basically, these elite boss marks are teh equivalent of a lvl 150-200 DJM, DJK...maybe higher
i tried and tried to kill these last gold elites, to no avail....except that first one, and he didnt even do a single point of damage
its not the template, or the armor, or foods, or strategy..i believe these are simply bugged, and if you think your uber cuz you killed one, then yea, i guess i was uber once too, about 30 mins before i got my azz handed to me on my second mission which was a boss mark also

Anybody trying to fool us that the 82 gold shevron marks are possible to solo ... well should be sent to mustafar immediately with no reutrn tickets. Im maxed BH/Carbs/4000 cm with force skills, 2k health buff crystal, combat foods, and bliel and 1200 stims to help healing. I use capped e11mk2 and my dps is 1058... errrm, my armor has +50 on speed, acu, defense and +25 on various states.... iv attacked the Thing near narmle. Well i dont whin about the states but when i shoot it for 750 damage, he shoots me two times for 444.. 454 and before i can spam another special he is completely healed - SOMETHING IS DEFINITELY WRONG.

While npc ai might need some tweaking, watching the video and checking your stats, there's a lot to improve:
- Food. How could you ingage a high level mark with only two food in your stomach?? Never heard about thundercloud, crispic, pikatta-pie, Vayerbock,... and I miss a few. Not to mention smuggler spice.
- Sorry to say that, but your armor suxx. Get yourself a higher energy armor 7000+ or even 8000.
- I never was a BH, but I guess you could receive doc buffs before going to your mark.
- duelist stance is a life safer, use it much much more often.

Im the same template with health crystal also(not that i would ever use it agaisnt NPC's) I would say i have just been lucky so far and not come across the ubber leet NPC lvl 82 bounty yet.Mine have been the weak lvl 82 golds. When i do and if i die im not going to cry Ill be happy that finally myreason for playing will be trying to beat the imposiblenot just to be a loot **edit**

I got reactive micro plating and cargo pocket, i killed like 20 boss marks and all loot from those for me was.. errr... smuggler smuggling smugglies and 1.. yes ONE set of adv wpn scopes

I just had my first boss mark. He killed me the first time, so I got buffed and went and killed him right back.
You have a better technique than I. I just kinda stand there and shoot them until they are dead. I don't bother with kiting.
Your armor has better resists than mine and I don't wear a psg. My carb is a little better than your pistol.
Looking at your video, he's just immune to you. Didn't appear as if he took any damage at all.
I don't know why I was able to kill mine and you failed vs. yours. This is just another example of SOE screwyness. They really need to get their **edit** together. People are getting pissed. Nearly as pissed as when the cu was rolled out early. Patches like 24 need a lot more testing time.

Yes, you have you opinion. In my opinion, I have some good armor.
I have 7500 against ranged energy (with PSG) and 7500 against Kinetic.
7500 Rated armor is 54.75% dmg reduction. 10000 rated armor is 60% dmg reduction. My armor doesn't suck nearly as much as your research.
You should be doing beter research. You don't have 7500energy protection or 54.75% energy protection.
You have 2000 energy protection from your psg (24.5%)and 5500 energy protectionfrom your armor (45.5%), which is 70% energy protection. With a 8000 energy protection, you would have total 24.5% + 56% = 80.5% energy protection.

Correct the last post. I was doing my calculation on a 2500 psg, which in fact you might look for, depending on what recharge rate you can find on your server.
