I just started BH out, and since I have enough money to get some decent weapons and armor, I can find only one thing wrong with this profession. If the Jedis can cry enough to get permadeath taken away, maybe if I cry I can get my Limited Edition goggles to go with my limited edition bh perks, whats everyone else think?

As a former BH, and now hologrinder that is soon to be out of business, I agree. Or at least allow my new holo prof, Master Tailor to make them.

There is a droid that searches which planet your mark is on, it is called the Arakyd Fugitive Tracker droid.

i feel your pain as bh is probably the most unexplained profession to a beginner to the prof..
1) save ur xp to capp at 10k invest and jump straight from 0 to invest 3 its alot faster and easier!
droids seekers needed to find mark on planet can be launched any where..
arkryds a outer planet seeker needs to be summoned in the wilderness...
hope that helps a little..
p.s be prepared for bugged missions galore.... expect missions that appear in rocks and buildings that cannot be attacked... no person there they mission just didnt spawn.... missions out of the map boundry u can see the mark just cannot reach it.... bounties that get killed by other nasties b4 u can get to it.... mission that spawn in the middle of oceans and seas and cant be attacked.... missions that just disapear when u get near them??? akryd droids not comming down.... akryd droids that report they have found the target but dont report the frikin planet! i could go on further but stick with it!

Just wanted to say hi and expose myself as the utter BH noob that I am. Made BH last night after several nights of running a training macro in Mos Eisley 
. I had originally planned on going BH 3/4/0/0 and TKM to hunt jedi, but today I discovered how much fun the scatter and LLC are, so who knows?

I just started BH novice today and I got my first mission and I have no idea what to do with it?

As for investigations and how the BH system works, you will want to research this in FAQ. But just to get you started, here are the basics:
1) Train in Novice Bounty Hunter.
2) Choose buffs, armor, and weapons that will help your template succeed.
3) Take a mission from BH terminal
4) Talk to Spynet operative for waypoint to mark's location.
5) Travel to mark and kill it.
6) Rinse and repeat.
NOTE: DO NOT train in Investigation 1 until you have maxed out your BH experience points at 10,000. Then train in Investigation 1 and 2.
Now it will get a little harder and you will need droids. If you are on Corbantis, give me a /tell or Ctrl+E and I will be more than happy to walk you through a few times.

I think you should start by checking one of the BH guides on either Allakhazam or any other site You need a whole set of wp's for the spynets and some regular advice on the startup. Its a lot, so best you read up on the guides already written :-)

Hello I'm new to the BH proffesion. I have mastered all melee proffesions also sevral others and it is time for a change. I have always want to be a BH so might aswell do it. What I was wanting to know is about the investigation tree. Right now im 1/2/4/2. When I get the 5k xp need to train in lvl 2 investigation do I train or keep going and max out my xp in it first.Any help on this matter would be great Thank You.

I would say, drop invest 1 until you get the 10k cap. That way you'll have invest 2 and halfway to 3. On 0/x/x/x all of your bounties are on the same planet. If dropping invest 1 isn't an option, you might as well train invest 2 when you have the xp.
