Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: new BH
hey i just became bh and i need to get bh pistol 2 and llc 1 what should i hunt i have a greater sludge panther too. ive been hunting mountain squills but my creature dies in about 4 kills and takes a while to heal plz help
Last mission out there to Baz Nitches, I got incapped and my Dappled Gualama took it out hehehe. It was close, but it saved my life!
Just prior to the fight I thought of upgrading, but really I don't need anything bigger ![]()
as i said u get 3kper GBN, 9 per lair, plus about 3k xp for the lair so u get around 30k xp and ug et 10grand (make sure ur cloned). thats how i did pistol and llc right now im gonna do it for carbine. then going on big raids with ppl on outpost's then jam the uplink and 1000 xp
His sludge panther won't last very long against giant baz nitches... he needs something better. But do get novice medic if you don't already have it, then guy qualitiy stimpack b's.
A great animal to hunt after for xp is also a huurton stalker on dantooine, no armor and they die a little faster... which = faster xp. I pulled off getting 270k xp in about 4 or 5 hours one night on my way to investigator, so dantooine is pretty nice.
I decided to leave WeaponSmithing as a profession due to it ruining the game for me... i.e. boring as watching wet paint dry Grinding.
So i decided to go BH, well since I think some of us want to be like Jango(sp) or Boba Fett deep down inside, or at least follow in their footsteps, minus losing the head(jango) and being eaten by a sarlac(boba). Currently Im finishing up carbines, then moving on to pistols, and LLC while doing the odd BH mission.
I have a few questions and perhaps a suggestion.
1. What is this White mark you people talk about?
2. What is classified as a bugged mission?
3. Should I flog myself for not knowing the answer to those Questions?
Since all the elite professions have their own weapons, as do we, I was thinking "We should have a BH Carbine".
Well basically wanted to introduce myself and say hello "Hello". Hopefully I can learn alot from you bunch.

You'll have plenty of time to flog yourself once you start on the Investigation tree. ![]()
Seriously though:
A white mark refers to the mark that you have to destroy in a bounty hunter mission. Once you reach him/her, sometimes they are 'white' meaning that are like any NPC that cannot be attacked. As such, it qualifies as a bugged mission which is a little broader than the white mark issue.
I've had bugged missions where the mark appeared in walls, mountains, deep underground, trees, etc. (just a tip, sometimes setting up a camp right next to the mark will flatten the landscape and clear whatever obstacle your mark is inside) Or they vanished in mid combat with a mission failed message or never appeared to begin with. Pretty much any mission you cannot complete through no fault of your own may be classified as bugged.
Hope you have fun while in BH-land.

Yes, go Tracking 4 if possible. You can give it up if you so choose later. In the meantime you get a nice title (Hunt Master), pull quite a bit when animal harvesting, and can get a feel for what players iare in the area if you happen to: a. be camping a lair, or b. are trying to avoid/find a known overt-player in your area.

hey guys im makin my character a master BH and i was wondering if i should grab tracking 1-4 until they fix droids so i can hunt the jedi.
i also have a second question, can the droids track other NPC's like a FS NPC or just guys w/ bounties?
npc tracking is just that
any npcs within 500 m will show up on yer tracking window
to get tracking 4 you would have to give up your novice medic not a good tradeoff if ya ask me plus you would have to be within 500m of hunted jedi before pc tracking would even pick em up
