Thread: Is this true?

I read earlier today in a post, some one made the claim that random npc's that are known to drop holocrons, have a higher rate of dropping them.

i.e. a random darktrooper spawn is more likely to drop a holocron than a static spawn of DT's

Can any one confirm this?

Yes, itall you have to do is set the limit real low. But IMHO, I think that is both crappy and un-ethical. A person who makes it a habit of doing this will have their reputation shot to hell, and nobody would want to do business with them.

Remember, just as in real-life, a person's bad reputation carries more weight than their good reputation. So in closing, remember to treat each customer, as you would want to be treated, as a customer.

I guarentee the repeat business will far out-weigh any shams and scams that shady merchants may try to pull. And repeat business is what matters most.

The lowest you can set the entry timer is 15 minutes and the longest is 2 days

Dang...Why'd they have to fix the bug JUST as I picked up merchant? lol

Hehehe...

Actually...it was a bad thing...Too many people mastered merchant too quick...and don't know what they are doing.

It was a cheesy exploit. And besides being able to master merchant faster than was intended it was also possible to cheat people out of credits because it accepted their money then kicked them out of the structure.

Hello.

I met a guy in game today, he told me he opened a holocron today and it told something like "Holocrons can no longer be used, contact tech support to get your credits back" or something simular, i just wonder.. this CANT be true, or can it? my mate opened hes holocron yesterday without problems and it told him squad leader.

Just because im searching for my hidden proffesion, and i dont want to proceed if its already changed.

Or is this guy just full of crap?

I'd bet on the "full of crap" version myself.

I agree, I bet it's the 'full of crap' thing too. Reason I say that is I'm silent, just now tried using my holocron (to test your theory) and it gave me the same old 'The Holocron is quiet. blah blah blah' message, not the one you just stated.
