Sure Darth Vadar threw his saber.....nothing wrong with that...but it didn't boomerang back to him. He had to walk up ti it, then use the force toput it back into his hand. I think that Jedi oughtto be within 10m of his saber before it returns to his hand. This isn't Crocodile Dundee meets Star Wars is it?
Yea and this duelist stance causeing damage to be refelcted back at the target? I mean come on EVERYONE knows that BH's can reflect damage back at their target by standing there and Jedi can't right? Er...wait....am I confused on that one?

Maybe I am strange, but IMO, X-Wing > Lightsaber. It should be MUCH easer on the force user to pick up a little old saber and run it back to them. *wink*
This is a stupid thread but, anywho, i'm geeky enough to jump in too.I'm pretty sure Yoda said something like "Size matters not".
Yea yea that's what all the ladies say about yoda. But that's just cause he uses the force. 500x better than viagra!

If you have to use the force to turn on a lightsaber, how did Han turn luke's on to cut the that thing open on Hoth?
Back to reading comprehension 1for joo!

You know some lightsabers do not even have an on/off switch on the outside of hilt? You have to use the force to trigger them on/off.
note the word some.

Sorry but you are on the losing side of this debate, Obi Wan didnt clone and heal his battle fatigue either.....
Master BH could not be learned in a week in the context of a swg universe, and also not respec'd every 12 hours.
Remeber the most feared BH in all the galaxy? Boba and Jando both got wasted at the hands of jedi.

Fine...but than shouldn't light saber cut bounty hunter in half with one hit ?
yes, also in this respect, eyeshot w/ a scatter pistol should blow the jedi's head off
also in this respect, a jedi would know you are after him and would kill you before you had chance to pull the trigger, lol
Really?
Hmm, seems to me that of all the Jedi that got ganked by CloneTroopers in EpIII only one, Yoda, sensed anything in time to fight back. The rest, including Masters from the coucil just got their respective arses shot to pieces.
But on to the original argument, yes, the "machine-gun" nature of saber throw is pretty lame.

If you want realism compared to what we have seen in the movies Jedi should have 99.9% sabre block, deflect bolts back and kill people, kill people with one hit, etc etc. And anyone in Imperial armor should get like -1000 accuracy.
QFE - u rule dude. -1000 rofl

Yeah, Yoda a bad mo fo. However, I think a lot of the other jedi had sensed it too it just they were surrounded by hundreds of CloneTroopers and Yoda only had two to dispatch. ![]()
Yoda ftw btw ![]()
