how big isthe difference between sliceing 4 and master?

For those that are or have been a smuggler, if I go up the slicing tree higher then Slicing I will I continue to get higher mission payouts with each box or is slicing I all I need?

Ok I am working on the slicing line of smuggler and I have a question. Is there anything u can do to increase the slice %? I noticed that on the laser knives they list no stats, the clamps list no stats. So is there any way to increase the chances of a slice about 25%?

Simply put, clamps tell you what wire to cut with 100% success each time, hence "secure". However, you still have to cut the wire it tells you to...

A Flow Analyzer Node gives a 75% success rate, I believe.

Laser Knives just cut the wires.

There's really nothing that we make that would affect a slice anyway... a Weapon or Armor Upgrade Kit might, but the last thing we need is to pay them some God-awfully overpriced fee for 99% kits. As if we don't see kits with the % rate on them enough already. I for one hope the Devs keep slicing random, maybe close the percentage gap a bit, getting a 12% slice at Master isn't easy to explain... makes me cringe every time.

Ok 1 more questions. Does being a master smuggler change anything? I just want to be able to slice things. So I only "mastered" that line. Got Slicing 4.

a master smuggler gets a higher max slice 35% on weapons and armor effect and 45% on armor encumb. + higher averidges

What is the definition of a secure slice???

Is it trun a master smuggler can get a better slice than a level IV slicer?
