Read what I wrote AGAIN. Tanks said that the devs felt it was pretty close with the changes in Pub 19. What do you need? A burning bush?
I've now read 80 (well skimmed) of Tanks' posts, and am doing a thorough search of dev posts in another window, as well. If you wish to post a link, please do. I should add, your words meaning nothing to me. Tanks, possibly. Devs, definately. Yours' - not a thing. Show me your damned burning bush, if you will. Not Tanks saying "well, I think...," show me a specific response from a dev (or via Tanks from a dev.) Yes, I want a burning bush...

Your skimming skills need drastic work. It was 10 posts back.
Behold and be enlightened
Actually, I DID read that post.
"Well, devs thought it was pretty close after Pub. 19, and will make further adjustments. I will post a feedback thread after Pub. 20 goes live."
You call that a fact? "pretty close," "further adjustment," and "will post feedback after <next patch>
I'm no detective, but I know what a fact is...

The facts are:
When the CU hit Dev's stated they intended templated Jedi to be 1.5 times as powerful
Later, the Dev's made a drastic adjustment to healing
Shortly after Tanks, who has a great deal more contact with the devs than you and I have, reported that the devs felt it was pretty close to 1.0 after Pub 19, which introduced the adjustments.
Sorry, Bub, you don't have to be a mensa candidate to see the change in direction and philosophy. Now pardon me for not providing graven tablets handed down from on high. Then again I don't have to have every little thing spelled out for me.
just wait, there will be adjustments in the way cloak is usable...it will still be possible to be used when not in combat, but once engaged in combat, there will be a lengthy cooldown to prevent them from flitting off.

tanks says that with the healing changes in 19 and our "first strike" ability, that the devs feel its pretty close.i believe once they take into account that our first strike ability has been taken away with cloak being so easy to use to escape a fight and come back when the jedi is ready, and the ability for a jedi to cloak, target us, /duel us to check if we've got their mission and then either leave or continue grinding once they figure out if we've got their mission, we really don't have a "first strike" advantage.

I'm from Missouri, the "Show Me" state.
(actually, I'm not)
If you still believe that Jedi are 1.0 against combat professions, you've got another thing coming. Jeez, can't you troll your own boards? Prove it to me, that's all I ask. "Feelings" don't count. Devs keep logs - good ones at that. Those are facts. If all things being equal, a full template combatant will beat a full template defender 50% of the time. That would be a fact. Saying, "well, I think that maybe it's kinda close right now" is not a fact, no matter where it comes from.
Again, there are people who suck on both sides, but I have heard no FACTS that a full template combatant will beat a full template defender 50% of the time, all things being equal.
Highly, highly doubtful. (this excludes "/offerride," "force run, "force cloak," house grinding," "house running, " "LOS exploits," and "Kashyyk /afk grinding," of course - These, of course, are reserved for the Jedi that don't stand to fight, so the numbers are surely HIGHLY screwed by this.)
BIG problem right there.
Not every full template is a defender. There are quite a few templates that have little to NO defender.
Yes, the Devs keep logs. Good ones at that. And THEY are the ones Tanks is reporting that feel that Jedi are close. That's my authority for citing. Where's yours?

Since you have to look for something to flame in every single post I thought I might point out that you are flaming the wrong person for not spelling correctly.
TheMadCoder made the spelling mistake not Spy-der.
If you are going to try and be the official forum spell checker then atleast get your target right before being an ass.
Whats wrong with getting the expoliting/cheating/AFK-grinding/starpot-duelingjedi noobs?
Why not make them follow the rules the rest of the playing community follows?
I say BAN them!!

Exploiting and cheating Jedi? Ban them, along with every exploiting and cheating BH or any other profession for that matter.
No matter how much you or I don't like it, AFK-grinding in and of itselfis not against the rules.
You talk about following the rules the rest of the playing community follows and then talk about banning Jedi who duel in starports. So you must be in favor of banning anyone who has ever duelled at a starport, right?
And how about making them follow the rules the rest of the playing community follows. The rest of the playing community can use their dev-given abilities anywhere they want and as often as they want without having to worry about a player coming along and setting their xp bar back. So Jedi should be forced to conform to that standard as well.

Aren't they at all afraid we shall quit the miserable game and leave the jedi alone on a galaxy full of only jedi?
You said a thing in there. Other games online have different rooms with different choices and depending on what you want you pick a room or another.
SWG has dunno-how-many servers, all the same. Why not set different percentages of jedi population in them? If you want to play zero Jedi, you go to X server, you want just a few, you go to Y server. You want full jedi, you go to Z server. Soooo easy...

Hey, good idea! No, seriously... I've heard sooo many people talk about ALL Jedi servers and NO Jedi servers, but why not have shades of grey in between?
I guess that might mean SOE might have to set up more servers and/or manage the ones they have now more, which will cost them money...
