Thread: Why do YOU hunt Jedi?
I have not bothered to start the trials...I am also alone most of the time...As for the xp loss, someone said it makes no difference
if there was a penalty...but I personally prefer it to be there. I can't speak for the other Jedi, but for me, combat is a lot more
thrilling when there is something at stake..Also, I think the death penalty is a bit weak for Jedi who have completed their templates
and have no desire to change them...

No, I am not.
I know of several Jedi who play regularly yet next to never show up on the terminals.
So do I and it's good to know some have managed to avoid being screwed over through no fault of their own. Although the fact remains visibility is so random you can show off in front of 300 people and still not land on the terminals. The system is a total sham. People that ought to be hunted are not, and be that shouldn't be hunted are. Then people wonder why jedi don't care about showing off at star ports? Well they're obviously going to think "why not, I'm going to end up on the terminals no matter what I do". Simply because you know a few jedi that haven't shown up on terminals doesn't change the fact that people who have done nothing to appear on them still are.
I suppose they are cheating then because obviously, it is impossible to stay off the terminals.
If you say so, I certainly didn't however. The fact that there's an overwhelming factor of luck involved is simply wrong. Why should jedi hide if they're going to be hunted anyway?
3. A jedi stole my wallet, my dog, and my dignity

You are regressing that persons advancement in the game by at least an hour by participating in this action. That is an hour of a real person on the other end of that computer that in a lot of cases is just minding their own business trying to play the game the way they want.

Dude, but this is by the game design. Jedi is ment for hardcore players. IF someone was 'lucky' enough to unlock his slot in 10 professions and consider him an L33T UB3R playah then he has made the wrong decision and hsouldn't have even try to work on FSS. Even doing 32 professions doesn't mean make player hardcore one. It's just a time sink, same as the new current system. Besides that the new system requries more dedication, which would sort people who really wants to be a jedi and will do anything to become one from those who just wants to pwn in pvp and have a glow stick in his hands.

All right nevermind responding now. Reading your last comment I know exactly where you stand on this now. It's your opinion that by playiing jedi you have to accept a BH is going to randomly turn up through no fault of your own and mug you of two hours hard work. All I can say is I'm glad you're not on the development team. You seriously haven't a clue...
You know, I'd like to point out at this moment that every Jedi who has ever claimed to me that they don't know how they got on the terms turned out to have been put there because of some blindingly obvious reasons. Dueling with friends. Running the Tat Hero quests. Something. It's always something.
