One major question here. Is the KD timer still in effect or was that dropped? Cuz a TK kept me on the ground for a grand total of 2 minutes the other day (testing BH/Commando, no recovery mods, but hella defense). He wasn't even a master.


There is a state mod that keeps you from getting up, but like Karbal said, it's not dizzy. I can't remember what it said, but when I was fighting a fencer, they did a legsweep, and sent me to the ground. When I tried to stand, it said I was too *something* to stand, but it wasn't something relating to dizzy (i.e. too dizzy/disoriented/confused/noxious to stand).

I dont know if it is a bug or not, but I can switch weapons and fire them quickly, no more delay like in the old system.

I'd like to see not being able to fully re-allocate points somewhere on that list. As it stands for me its gamebreaking because i didn't play a game for a year and a half to start re-grinding, with a gimped combat system on top of that.

  1. Duelist stanceis not reflecting back any damage.
  2. Underhand shot/Improved Underhand shot - Mobs and NPCs pop right back up before even a chance to fire again.
  3. BHs do not have an Advanced version of the LLC (Master or lvl 50), which is causing problems with BHs valuable (Krayted) LLCs converting to uselessness.
  4. Defenses seem to be irrevelant. (Similar issue to Pikeman and TKA).
  5. Improved Confusion Shot (Stun, Blind, Dizzy) - Resisted 75% of the time by lvl 35-54 NPCs, seems to be too ineffective.
  6. Tanking through mitigation - Confusion on how this is supposed to work, or even if it is working.
  7. Unless fixed lately Master BH still requires 340K Combat exp., while the cap is still 300K.
  8. Latest patch which increased action costs is very detrimental to BHs as our debuff shots take so much action that when time comes to do damage shots we are out of action resulting in very long and boring and less tactical combat.
  9. Torso Shot bleed is for ~49 damage every 6-7seconds, seems to be very insignificant.
  10. Bounty missions are too easy due to levels. A level 99 mission at mission difficulty +3produces a level 33 NPC which is dead in a few shots. I suggest the following:

2. I have not had this problem at all. I have used it and gotten them down for long enough to hit them with another special. Keep in mind that getting up from a KD now uses the recovery skill.

4. My defenses after testing thru 2 respec templates are working just fine.

6. I would like to see a really good dev explanation of this myself.


7. There are MANY experience cap problems throughout the game...I think until the respec time is over they need to remove / disable the caps.


8. This is intentional, the idea being this: If you are solo find a weapon that has been experimented to a medium range special move cost. If you are in a group and you are handling state changes or specials then get something with e very low cost, if you are damage dealing in a group it doest much matter depending on your special you use for default attack. You are going to have to be MUCH more strategic about how you use your specials and what weapons you take into each fight. I for one LOVE this change.

10. no comment, havent taken many missions yet.

The maximum mission difficulty mod for missions is +3 at completion of Investigation 3,


  • +1 - NPC Level 20 - 35.

  • +2 - NPC Level 36 - 54

  • +3 - NPC Level 54 - 82




The exact opposite is true for Novice Level Bounty Hunters. All my marks con purple and kill me in two hits. Both of my initial marks were CL 31, while Im currently CL 21. Outcome, due to the new level based combat system, is thus instant defeat for me.

Assuming they do add a new weapon, what will happen to our High End LLCs that have already been "Converted". Will they get upgraded, or have we lost our weapon for good to the abyss of mediocrity.

1. Special attack cost are too high, one trip through the specials and I'm too tired to use another for about 15 seconds. Decrease the cost, or increase the regen for the pool.


2. Bomb droids are ineffective (tested and not one point of damage done, both the MSE and the R-3 units)


3. KD does nothing when the target gets right back up.


4. Droids are buggy again. I got a mission on a target I KNEW was on Dant, went to Science Outpost to get the Bio, went back to MO on Dant, launched a seeker, came back that my target was not on that planet. I had to launch a probe before the seekers would work.


5. Probe droid inital WP does not show up when shuttling into the plaet your mark is on.


6. PSGs....I pulled a PSG from my inventory in my house, it disappeared never to be seen again. I have not tried this again.


7. Force Infusion makes a Jedi God like....takes at least 4 BHs to combat the healing properties of this skill. In 45 seconds it can heal for 3000K of damage, plus the base 3K health HAM...show me a combination that can hit a Jedi for 6K a minute.....WITH the skill cost as they are now.

These two issues are causing me, and most people I'm sure,great frustration. BH seems to have gone from a weak profession to a completely feeble one. Not much fun in playing when you can't reasonably expect to succeed in combat at your own level.

My only woe is that we need one really high damage shot.

2 jedi can attack 1 mbh ive seen it in a sp ,unless it was jedi testing a exploit ,or pvp which i cant see

because they was all rebel

1- It reflects, but as near as I can tell inmproved or not it seems to be the same ammount. (Watch your combat channel)


2- Yeah, for any kd attack, they spring up or it has no effect


3- LLC *sigh* I used to use one.


4- Still yet etc. (We are supposed to have defenses??? (note sarasm.))


5- It'd be nice if something worked.


6- I am not a tank, (or Tanks for that matter). If Advanced combat stance is supposed to be our meathod of tanking, we are so hosed.


7- Have not looked, Been a MBH for a long time now.


8- No argument there, Supposedly I have a rate of fire of 1.5 (ish) on my laser carb, I would think specials would take into account how fast I am.I wouldlove a break down on how fast the timer is supposed to be with our weapons speed mods taken into account. I am betting we don't get any as the devs only use that for looks it seems.


9-I have only seen that work -once-, but anything under 100 points very 6-7 seconds is a joke, 500 points every 3 seconds would be better.


10- Well considering the highest mission I have seen is a 67 or something the mob was a cl 30. Considering I am a MBH it's a easy way to rake in credits but patheticin theanme of fun or a challenge. If we have MBH shouldn't we be seeing aINVESTIGATIONS 5??? I think a lot of us would pair up and go after non-jedi missions ith the a- money was worth it, b- We would get experiance, c- It would be fun. Once the Jedi figure out new loop holes or fade into dust, we'll need -something- to do.


I have not been a fan of the change and I still am not.

Ok, not to question your knowledge Tanks but to me the tanking via mitigation makes alot of sense. Damage is now based on defence Vs accuracy and no single profession apart from force defender has more melee/ranged defence than MBH. Based on that, BH will take the 3rd least damage in pvp based on him mitigating the damage dealt by an attacker due to his high defences ( force defender would be first and TKM running CoB would be second)..... maybe you agree, maybe you dont


Oh and for the BH complaining about force infusion, i suggest you find yourself a doctor or respec 4000 because they have something called bacta infusion which does the same job as force infusion. BH is meant to be about tactics, come on guys at least explore all options open to you before you ask for something nerfed.....
