obiwan " these are not the droids you are looking for"
he give them the jedi mind trick..
when luke goes to jabba and the guards back away...
Now how do you take that and impliment it into a game.
Making it so they can't attack but be seen jsut makes the BH follow until the jedi stops using the mind trick. So they make the jedi invisible to deter the BH from following truly making it a mind trick
ROFL my friend. I have droids that will help me follow you regardless of your cloak and lack of targetting.

ahh but when did mind tricks work on a droid? They have no brain to trick..

You all crying is pathetic. It is ALL Bh's do anymore.
Corvette. This post of yours is an example of crying. Stop calling the kettle black please.

Sorry but you all trying to twst this and say I am the one whineing is pathetic. This whole thread is about people crying and is sad. Sorry but pointing out that you all are the ones crying is not crying. I don;t cry about any of your overpowered abilities, instead I learn to deal with it. Perhaps if you all spent more time learning how to play instead of crying here you might actually learn something.

When did BH get a root?
Bh's can get roots with pther proffessions and use them against their targets still yes? The point is there are many many skills that can be considered overpowered to people and instead if crying about it here learn how to combat them.
Yesterday I fought a Jedi who Rooted ME. Both sides can use it, unlike cloak, FR3 and a lot of other abilities that no one has ever seen, nor heard of.
I think that to cloak yourself, you must first loot the "One Ring to Rule Them All." It should probably be dropped by Frodo in the DWB.
Aside from the Frodo thing (which was, I'll grant, quite funny), you've hit on something quite important here.
The only abilities remaining which really set the Jedi apart from regular profs, the only things that we have which can't be found anywhere else, are Cloak, Force Run 2/3, and Avoid Incap.
Dmg: Normal profs can hit harder and for better DPS.
Healing: Normal profs can heal better and more efficiently than Jedi.
Rezzing: Normal profs can rez others. Jedi can't.
Tanking: Jedi get an extra 4.5% armor protection over TKM at master level. Hardly much of a difference.
Buffing: Doctors can buff health (TKM can, too), action, mind, and speed. Jedi can buff speed, though not as well as a Doc.
Crowd Control: Jedi and NonJedi can root, mez, KD, etc.
Debuffs: CMs can debuff better than Jedi.
What's really different? Avoid Incap, Cloak, and Force Run2/3.

I do play a BH and have long before most of you cry babies became a respec BH. I grinded my MBH back when I had to walk to all my targets and hunt Jedi as well. I know both sides of the story as I also grinded my Jedi before patch 10.

Hah, sheesh with all these skills "Bounty Hunters" supposedly get, why is Corvett playing a Jedi? Why would anyone play a Jedi? In fact why would anyone pay a grand for a Jedi accountwhen they canget a Bounty hunteraccount for pennies on the dollar?![]()

in your eyes corvette....what BH only abilities do you think are game breaking? And why?
I can tell you cloak is a pisser...you can't target, you can't see, there is no dot...and I don't understand how a pet, droid, or swoop would be able to tell me where they are. -If there is ANYTHING (NPC, PC, Pet, Droid, Vehicle within 20m of a Jedi he CANNOT cloak). Btw seeker droids still follow a cloaked Jedi. You should already know this.
I do know the jedi can cloak for a very long time with..I think it's force infusion. you say you can get alot of people to stand around the jedi to run down there force, but thats assuming you know where he is and isn't running away from you. -Its actually called channel force and it has side effects. It will lower hismax health 300+ everytime he uses it. Force Infusion is a healing ability. Will only regen your health but it does NOT regen your max health. It only heals health damage. For every NPC, PC, Pet, Vehicle within 20m of a cloaked Jedi, the Jedi will lose a considerable amount of force. Channel Force CANNOT sustain the Jedi forever if there are alot of these things around him. TRUST ME
Now I am not saying cloak should be removed or anything, just trying to play mediator without the low blows...cause I am the only one who has that abilitly
I would like it however, to break somehow after a period of time or whatnot... -There are alot of things that a Jedi cannot do while being cloaked. For example, he cannot buy a shuttle ticket. He cannot shuttle (he CAN launch into space, and he CAN travel if he uses his own starship). He cannot place a house. Instead of trying to kill every Jedi the first time, you MAY need to follow him around. Wait for the right time to hit him. But you know he has cloak, so you will need to prepare for that. Find a root shot, use a droid (I dont know how many times I have had droids follow me around so that I couldnt cloak).
I will say I do not know the cloak ability fully as I do not have it...so maybe you could enlighten us on that too.. -I have just done that. Not trying to flame, but a good Jedi has learned everything there is to know about the BH profession. I believe that a good BH has learned everything there is to know about the Jedi profession. If there is something you dont know, then the best thing to do is to learn about it. There MUST be other BH's that know things that you dont. You cannotrely onthe Jedi to give you this knowledge. But since I am a nice dark jedi (totally against my beliefs), I figured I would help you out this time.

As someone said, i should get root, my answer to this is my template won't have it unless I lose my Healing ability.
As for tactics........I'm master rifleman, you Jedi expect me to come down to within 20m of you when my Ideal range is at 65m? and how the hell do I get my droid to break your Cloak? I could tell the droid to "Folllow Target", but what target would that be?......i can no longer target Cloaked marks although no doubt you can still target me when i'm under Cover if someone informs you that i'm nearby.
Jedi have been given far too many abilities that do not fit in with the gameplay of SWG. The CU was brought in to bring balance to all professions so I thought, 1 month after CU and the DEV's started to tinker about too much, I think even Jedi players will now agree that BH vs Jedi or Jedi vs any profession is far from balanced and its getting worse.
Changing subject slightly......How good is Guild Wars (The Game)? Anyone like to give me their own personal views on this?
Since when did my saber not cut you in half immediately when you are hit with it? I mean come on ppl. You come across someone who you can't beat and you come here and make a thread about hey they need to be nerfed. Well, Boo freaking Hooo. Learn to stalk your prey and hit at the right time as opposed to trying to slug it out with someone. Learn how to well, you knwo, be a BH and have some skill.

Yes I believe ALL Professions took full advantage of RESPEC and DOUBLE XP WEEK. Are you saying you didn't take advantage of it as well?

Since when did SOE say that Jedi are supposed to be balanced evenly with BH and other normal professions? Last I heard, the official party line was that Jedi are supposed to be balanced at a "1.5x stronger than a normal player" ratio. Have we had official word that this has changed?
