We live in a galaxy that discovered faster than light travel, but they have not discovered landscaping yet. Why can't I place a house ANYWHERE I want? We sure can here on Earth.

Let's see....
First, The Exploits:
Jedi have used an exploit to mess up BH droids by logging off and then back on.
Jedi have used exploits to over power their sabers by stack crystals and pearls... not once but twice now.
Jedi have used an exploit using the /duel command in order to see if a BH has thier mission.
Jedi have used the exploit of attacking while cloaked.
Jedi have used an exploit that allowed them to take advantage of a broken TEF system allowing them to run inside house while in combat with the BH.
Jedi have used the exploit of using bugged battlefields to avoid combat with BH.
Jedi have used the exploit of /offerRide and /acceptRide from 32m away in order to escape combat.
Jedi have used an exploit of using 2 attacks simultaneously in order to hit twice in a single action.
Jedi have exploited the Respec in order to train a bunch of low level boxes so that they could just respec 12 hours later to the high level boxes in order to circumvent the higher XP requirements.
Jedi have used the LOS exploit on the Rryyat Trails in order to avoid combat from BH.
Jedi have used an exploit allowing them to DB themselves in order to not lose XP from a BH.
I know there are more... but you get the point. There is plenty of reason for people to complain and "whine" about Jedi. A lot of the exploits affected more than just BH. Jedi are always finding an exploit and some way to get around the few drawbacks that Jedi have.
Second, Inconvenience of Jedi:
Many people feel that Jedi are too great in number.
Many people feel that the Jedi profession has ruined the GCW because of their numbers.
Many people feel that because of their numbers, Jedi are too powerful.
Many people feel that Jedi are an alpha class and do not have a place in a game with 32 other professions unless their power is greatly reduced in order to maintain a balance for ALL professions.
In general, a LOT of people feel that Jedi have ruined this game. There really is just too many of them. A lot of people don't think it's fair that just because they do not want to be a Jedi, they seem to be punished for it. Many Jedi like to try to point the finger and say these people are just jealous of their power when in actuality... that power is grossly overpowered and should be toned down due to the vast number of Jedi. If Jedi were few, then I agree to their need for great power. But when a server of 1500 subscribers has 750 or more Jedi on it... there is a problem.

It can't possibly be that hard to type two extra characters, can it? I mean, "y" is right next to "u" and "o" is right next to "i" which is right next to "u". In other words, all the letters needed for "you" are within 4 keys of each other.
Play nice, folks. Really, why bother wasting a heart attack over something as stupid as using 'u' instead of 'you.' I'm a spelling/grammar nazi myself, but don't use 10 posts arguing about it - it's only going to make this thread get locked or *poofed*.
There is real content here - and I'd like this thread to stay open.
I'm just messing with him.
I've only used two posts.

many non jedi use to grind low level boxes and respec them to higher ones too. this was NOT just jedi. the whole community did it, and its not an exploit.
This is NO lie... I know MANY folks who were buying up CRAP loads of resources... so they could get architect, which only takes about an hour to do, and sit by a crafting station crafting gungan head statues by using a macro, and get MASTER architct in just under an hour. Then they respec that mastery into ANY elite profession of choice (most were Bounty Hunter). So during this respec exploit that say Jedi used to grind in weeks instead of months, many of your respec BH's didn't grind their prof AT ALL... but went from a level 1 artisan to a MBH in less than TWO hours... But that is not exploiting, is it?
And then after crafting the gungan head statues for yet another hour to master architect again, when the next 12 passed and the next respec came, that mastery was respec'ed to ANOTHER elite prof. SO you have a level 1 artisen not only got to MBH in about 2 hours, you get a level 1 artisan going to DUAL elite mastery (MBH/MRM or MBH/MP/ or what have you) in less than 12 hours.
So for all you kettles who are whining saying Jedi used respec to exploit? Here is my pot, it needs YOU to call it black.

Jedi have used exploits to over power their sabers by stack crystals and pearls... not once but twice now. BH's double-slicing weapons. Jedi have used an exploit using the /duel command in order to see if a BH has thier mission. BH's using /duel to keep a Jedi from attacking. Jedi have used the exploit of attacking while cloaked. BH's can initiate attack from under cover - Jedi cannot start combat with a BH, ever, unless they have been attacked. ROFL - check out the Jedi forums for the hilarious respec BH tells. Jedi have used the LOS exploit on the Rryyat Trails in order to avoid combat from BH. BH's do the same thing, even seen BH attack in pairs and abandon the fight when one dies by going to the bridge. I know there are more... but you get the point. Many people feel that Jedi are too great in number. BH's are way too rare, huh? Many people feel that the Jedi profession has ruined the GCW because of their numbers. May be problematic, but there would be no GCW without Jedi (ie they started it). Many people feel that because of their numbers, Jedi are too powerful. Until pub-20, it was the BHs that were attacking Jedi in gangs, not the other way around. Many people feel that Jedi are an alpha class and do not have a place in a game with 32 other professions unless their power is greatly reduced in order to maintain a balance for ALL professions. Many players have their parents pay their subscription for them, so why should their opinions matter? OK, that was just to be mean, /blush. Seriously though, you complaining about the Jedi from a BH point of view is just as selfish.

We have zoning laws preventing the placement of buildings, and how those buildings will be zoned - Commercial, residential, and industrial. You can't just drop a Dunkin' Donuts in the middle of a apartment complex - the laws and communities don't allow it.
I'm missing your point. Are you complaing about not placing a house on Endor or something?
My point was that I have my own city and there is area for the footprint, meaning the footprint won't go over another buildings. But the terrain, such as hills and ditches, prevent me from placing the building. Just dumb, like the devs never thought of digging a hole and pouring a concrete foundation to level the base.

ROFL - check out the Jedi forums for the hilarious respec BH tells. Wow, you suck at this. Respec BH's grinded out another profession and respeced the points to BH. Jedi learned novice boxes (without having to grind for them) and saved them up until they were full temp.
Jedi have used the LOS exploit on the Rryyat Trails in order to avoid combat from BH. BH's do the same thing, even seen BH attack in pairs and abandon the fight when one dies by going to the bridge. And we're completely ignoring the fact that you were GRINDING ON KASHYYYK, n00b.

Many people feel that Jedi are too great in number. BH's are way too rare, huh? BH's aren't supposed to be rare. Jedi are.
Many people feel that because of their numbers, Jedi are too powerful. Until pub-20, it was the BHs that were attacking Jedi in gangs, not the other way around. And there's a problem with that? That's the way it *should* be.

Many players have their parents pay their subscription for them, so why should their opinions matter? OK, that was just to be mean, /blush. Seriously though, you complaining about the Jedi from a BH point of view is just as selfish. Most players that have their parents pay for their subscriptions are the "I have nothing better to do than grind out jedi" kids.

Oh, so because a Jedi was grinding on Kashyyk, that makes it acceptible for the BH to exploit?

Lol, what about the Jedi?! Both sides do it. My contention was that it *wouldn't happen* if Jedi didn't decide to grind on Kashyyyk. Where they think they won't be hunted. And if they do get hunted, they'll run to the LOS spot. Unless they're AFK, of course, which is cheap in itself.
Your point (the one in red, right) points out that the Jedi was "grinding on Kashyyk" in response to him saying that BH's use the LoS bug as well. I am saying that "Grinding on Kashyyk" is NOT an exploit.
Regardless of whether it's a quest planet, adventure planet or whatever, just because you don't want them grinding there does not make it an exploit. If so, the same can be said of Dath, Endor, and Yavin4. They are ADVENTURE planets, and should be off limits to ANYONE from grinding on them, and anyone caught doing it should be dealt with for exploiting.
Yes, I know all about the droid issue, but droids not working there seems to be an intended feature, and therefore cannot be tied into your need to rename anything a Jedi does as an exploit.
