Thread: Post-Publish 24 NPC Bounties
I fought 4 Bosses since pub24, 1st one was uber, mega regen, was hitting for over 1000dmg and after waking up in the cloner the 3rd time I gave up.
2nd was different, hit for less dmg and although his regen was abit high I got him in the end (with almost no mind left lol).
3rd sent me to the cloner once (ran out of mind), again regen was uber, after I cloned I tried again, this time with a med bot and I won. This mark i watched his health as I hit him, inbetween shots it went from 168xx to 19xxx. That is I hit him for 750dmg, he regened about 2200 health before I hit him again. Bleeds KD's and stun/dizzy was the only way to put him down.
4th was fairly easy, reasonable dmg, reasonable regen, he was down in a few minutes.
So the only complaint I have is the health regen needs a bit of a tweak, which is annoying as in the Test forum many players where saying the same thing before the publish went live ![]()

I understand the template I use has more of a group support orientated style to it.
However, if these high damage, high health regen marks are an intended change to OUR system (not global), then where does that leave all the other MBH/MP's? In my eyes it automatically negates Master Pistols as a viable option for content that is entitled to us at master level. Personally I feel every MBH should be able to solo these marks providing they are masters of another combat class.
Previous to publish 24, I could solo the gold bosses. Yeah, they werea bit on the easy side and yeah, it may have taken me a bit longer using this skillset, but I could do it. Now it seems my days as a pistol wielding BH are numbered...
I hope it gets figured out soon.

After my previous posts in the deleted thread about different Lvls and Boss today this :
My temp MBH Carbs 44xx CM 44x4
In possession of a very good armor fully with Carbine tapes for acc and speed (almost both capped)
Damage output around 800 or 900 each time I hit (but 2 on 5 you miss)
Carbine dam and speed sliced with a very decent max damage around 1145 and dps around 641. So a more then decent carbine.
I took a 30K payouit mission (normally highest bosses are around 31K+ payouts)
The guy spawned at endor.
When I arrived I said already "oops" because It was a lvl 82 Double Golden bracket Boss mark with 33K HAM. (not even the highest HAM possible)
I fought him for about 25 minutes till some of my buffs and food ran out.
I never was able to get his health under 31K HAM : the regen is insane. (probot helping = useless)
He was shooting at me with a pistol ( no carbine, no rifle) and did a solid damage around 500 each attack.
The root and knockdown rates are way to high in comparation with what a player can do (we do lot's more MISSES then before pub24).
I could say he knocks you down 5 times for 2 times you do.
And snares you on a 5 to 1 ratio.
Also his action regen looks like he's fully buffed and sitting instead of standing and fighting.
I lost 10K on my helmet
I lost 4K on every major armor part.
My psg is destroyed for around 50%
And I used fully stacked food and all doc buffs.
My only question is, and this is no offence, how could you motivate players now, to get such missions who give a payout around 30K while your armordecays, youeat, drink, use spice....for more then the reward ???
If you buy a decent armor such parts cost fast around 100K , 200K or even more.
Is it worth all the loss for 1 bounty and maybe a nice Loot? (yes I know somethimes silvers drop better then golden but anyway when a golden drops nice, it's nice)
Not as far as I'm concerned.
I agree about the lower levels, but hey the higher levels are available so make us able to terminate them.
Before I had a ratio from between 15 or 30 Npc marks a day.
Now I'm dropped at about 2 or 5 marks a day, I just keep dying too much with those boss marks and it makes me lose way too much money.
I checked enough for now, did all kind of levels and yes some can be done alone, some with pain some easy. But many are just not possible to end alone.
Those who say, I can solo double golden brackets boss with ease. Well you're the first then cause all BH i know and speak with have the same problems as I do.
It's a game, it should be fun, so plze don't nerf the fun part completely, making it "a bit" harder and more chellenging is ok. Making it frustrating seems a bit sadistic to me.

I think the only thing that needs to be corrected is the Regen Rate.
As even if they have 100 sac weapons, that has no effect.
I am enjoying them more now.
The reward/loot is just about right. Wish they could fix the coding on Non-BH NPC missions to be the same.
Would be cool to get Boss mission on any terminal.
Yup, the high regen in mind and health, coupled with 30k+ attributes just seems tomake the mark too difficult.
I like the idea of tough a** marks.
In fact, for Hunters that have taken down 90%+ of their marks, I say do it.
However, for others (and i have never actually taken a mish, just helped), others should not have access to these Uber Marks.
