A decent templated healer Jedi can outheal a MCM for sure, no arguments there, over the long-haulimstill not sosure the MCM would be able to out-heal a Jedi, but it may bepossible.

This statement is true if the MCM is using stims to augment his healing and the Jedi isnt, if the Jedi uses stims too then his healing is far superior to even a Master Doc

I think we have found one of the TEF exploiters.

I ran into this again on Friday night. Took 5 tries but I finally killed him. The first time he just ran into his house. Ok. No problem there. I then came back and he did fight back right up until he was about to loose and then he was sprinting back into his house. That's a problem and it's been one far too long. It's about damn time the devs fixed this one.

Too many people on this board consider Jedi cowards for running into a house, so I would like to state my two cents on all this.

First off, the mission that the guy who wrote this post took was only 188k... that means that the Jedi he was hunting was low leveled. Now if youra Jedi and you are below level 75 or so and you see a dot coming towards you quickly with a CL 80, what is the most logical thing to do? Run and hide. There is no honor lost in not fighting the battles that you cannot win. Honor comes from recognizing the battles that you can win, and strategically using your abilities to do so. Sure, some Jedi higher than level 75 hide when we come after them, but you guys need to realize that some of the Jedi that have a higher CL than 75 may just have all of the LS boxes (which are almost completely useless right now as they do practically no damage and the ranged is broken). The point is that not all Jedi are capable of taking on a level 80 MBH and there is no shame in knowing it and doing what you can to avoid it. The running into houses thing might be an exploit now, but it will eventually be removed and until that time you aren't going to stop Jedi from doing it by b!tching about it on these forums. I would be willing to bet that 75%of Jedi are completely unaware of that being an exploit, if not more.

The bottom line is that there is no shame in running from a battle you cannot win. If the Jedi you are fighting is CL 80 and he still runs into his house, I agree that by all means you should get pissed at him and try to coax him out because that is generally an even fight. But if the Jedi is anything lower leveled then you are, keep in mind that it takes about a minimum of 15-20 weeks to even get Jedi padawan, and all the xp earned up from there is the hardest xp to get in the game. Every time you kill one, you take away some of their xp, and with a -10mil xp cap that Jedi have, that can be more then just mildly disasterous for a Jedi to get have to deal with continual bounties on them trying to kill them. I am not a Jedi, but it seems that unlike all the people posting on this board, I am aware of how incredibly difficult it is to get Jedi and how difficult it is to level a Jedi.

So next time a Jedi runs into a house when you have a bounty on them, remember that they had to work even harder than a BH pre-CU had to work to get their profession and they are just trying to preserve their efforts. If you can coax them all, then by all means, kill them, but do not go yelling and swearing at them for trying to do what they can to stay alive. If you have ever pvped as a low level (or low skill pre-CU) character, you know how much you want to stay alive while your fighting and you know how hard it is. Just imagine that, with xp loss if you die. Jedi have more then enough reason to want to hide, all that needs to be done is a way for them to hide that isn't an exploit. I am an MBH like the rest of you, but I support Jedi hiding because they have worked damn hard to get the character that they want and we don't have the right to yell at them and call them exploiting noobs just because they do what they can to keep it.

I ran into this again on Friday night. Took 5 tries but I finally killed him. The first time he just ran into his house. Ok. No problem there. I then came back and he did fight back right up until he was about to loose and then he was sprinting back into his house. That's a problem and it's been one far too long. It's about damn time the devs fixed this one.

To the Respec Bh who knows how to talk out of his Arse, I have been a MBH long before you became a respec Bh and grinded my Invest back when there were no mounts or vehicle and I have had a completed Jedi Temp since Aug of 04 and love to fight Bh's as well as hunt jedi. Get your facts straight before you make yourself look like and idiot.

Wow...talk about issues. And I'm not a respec. I've been a bounty hunter since September last year. And your comments seems to say you support exploiting the TEF issue.

The reason of such contention is that jedi lose their Xp which can be a pain to get back if they are doing it in slow ways. When you take 2 groups of people and pit them specifically against each other, it can only cause bad feelings between them.

If people were able to understand that it is just a game and to have fun with it, instead of treating it like a race of life and death, they would be better off. That goes for both sides.

There are plenty of BH and Jedi alike that do nothing but complain, niether group is better behaved than the other, even though both groups will offer the opinion that the other group wants it easy and is a bunch of cry babies.

There are also plenty of people in both groups that understand and have fun. The goal is toget more people in this group, even though you can never make everyone happy.

im a MBH, and however i relize some Jedi who exploit, i also relize that many of my BH brothers exploit in there own way or even worse...

so i agree with you 100%...there are whiners on both sides and if we jsut learned to play the f'n game we would be a hell of alot better off

Show me where a Dev stated it is an exploit? I get just as frustrated as well with this but you don't see me on here whineing about it.

How about multiple posts by Tanks?? He has stated numerous times that it's a known bug and it's on the list for the devs to fix. Why don't you take a look BH Top Issues?? What's #1???

It is either an exploit or its working as intended, you cannot decide that in one situation it is exploiting and another situation it is fine to use it.

I have seen this exploit (I consider it a lame exploit used by complete cowards who are a disgrace to the word Jedi) used many times and everytime it sickens me.

Stand and fight or run, hiding in your house cowering under the bed is not really becomingfor a Jedi. If you can't hack-it playing fairoraccept the losswhen you are killed, reroll and do us all a favour.

You misread my post.

What I am saying is that they way it should work is that if the Jedi justs runs away and never attacks back he can enter a house. If he fights back he/she is then prevented from entering any structure.

This is the way it worked for awhile and this is what I think is intended. You either run and hide or you fight back but not both, and not changing your mind in the middle of the fight.

Personally I never ran from a BH, but I did go AFK in my house when I wasnt playing to frustrate those hunting me, lol. Creative ways.

How about you showing me a Dev statement on this? it is something he wants changed but that does not mean it is an exploit. Show me a Dev stateing such and I will stand corected untill then it is no exploit and stop your stupid whineing and learn how to play.
