First off - Feign Death was on a low box of Smuggler. Could be obtained very easily by grinding Padawans, low level Padawans, and used specifically to avoid BH's.
Cloak is a Tier 4 Jedi skill. That's 3,200,000 Jedi xp. That is NOT any kind of comparison to the comparitively small amount of xp required to Feign Death before it was nerfed.

There are ways to combat it currently, but once they remove the ability to target a cloaked person in the next patch, it will be nigh impossible to try to overload the cloak with allies. All the Jedi needs to do is land one knockdown and he's in the clear - nothing anyone can do about it.

This is the message I hear.
My template can kill 60% of the full template Jedi I face, and that is not good enough. I want a 100% success rate.

Apparently the Devs' answer to that was 20m.
Maybe it should be increased to 80m for PCs - 20m for NPCs.

The point is, there are things Jedi can do to stop someone from kiting. There are things BH can do to stop BH from running. There is nothing anyone can do once a Jedi cloaks other than hope he runs out of force before he's out of sight.
Why can you be allowed to kite me so i only have 1 move to hit you with, but a power Jedi cant cloak and leave when you get too far away?

Done deal, right as soon as jedi can't hit me 2 times a second for 1300 damage. Until then however, I don't see any reason why I should be forced to enter within your fighting range (yet alone your saber throw range) just to keep you from running away like a coward when you have abilities like force run to catch up to me between roots or snares. Oh speaking of snares, last I remembered FR negated their effect.

OK based on your statement what does the game owe me?
I mastered 30 professions to unlock my Jedi pre patch 9. (1200 hours)
I have had to earn over 45mil Jedi xp over the last 16 months due to nerfs and changes to my profession. (200 hours)
I Have tuned over 250 premium pearls and crystals to have the sabers I do. (minimum value 750mil creds)
I Have custom defense clothes with a total of +25 General Melee speed/accuracy, +17 2H LS speed, +13 2H LS accuracy, +25 general ranged accuracy, +20 Force Accuracy, and +3 force regen. (min value 150 mil creds)
I carry 5 health buff crystals. (min value 25 mil creds)
I use 9 ADK, 1 on each article of clothing and 1 on my saber. (min value 90 mil creds)
And I have been a Powers user, the most gimped ranged profession in the game, for the last year. (Priceless)

There are recoveries available for every state effect (some require others to remove them, but all can be removed). Does cloak have an "Expose Cloaked Player" action? Maybe a "Clear Mindtricks"? Nope. There's your difference. They are not the same.

If I land a KD while I'm rooted, and you're within 20m of me, or you've chosen to attack me while I'm in a public place with people & NPCs around, I'm completely hosed and cloak is out the window.
How is this any different than me FR3ing away? Once I engage fr3 and start Benny Hilling, you aren't gonna catch me unless I feel like letting you.
