Thread: Servers just up and..
Well, i wont spill his name: But i tok his mission 130k, and my Probot let me know he was on Dantooine. I thought i hit the jackpot on this new Jedi name and some quick cash and headed over there unbuffed! He was just outside the Pirate Outpost when i got to the MO and i sent out my Seeker. But damn, he had shuttled to a Player City - Guess its another Jedi Stakeout today! I got to the City by Swoop and found a comfy house 130m from him, had my overhead map up just watching the waypoint for moment and nothing...
20minutes passed when and not any activety, he hadnt moved a single meter so i thought this was a AFK Jedi and i thought id give him another 20min incase he was still eager on grinding and something scared him home! Well, the 20min passed no movement and i thought id sent him a little /tell to check for AFK message even tho it would let him know i was around!
I got a funny reply from his AFK Message: "HAHA, BH n00bs, Waste youre time!!!"
Rofl, i thought this was entertaining and thought i now would take a closer loot at this guy. He was inside a Medium Naboo house and when i got outside it i read the sign that said "F**C YOU BH N00BS, WASTED YOURE FU**ING TIME!!!"
This was something new, i had never met a AFK Jedi that was "advertising" he was AFK to in my eyes try and greif Bounty Hunters to come for him and "WASTE OUR FU**ING TIME", lol.. I sent a report for once even tho i didnt normally bother about this and then a ticket asking a CSR to Disconnect him and told him what had happend!
The CSR acually contacted me by /tell, i was still in the Player City waiting in the Cantina as stubborn as i am hoping this guy would start moving and just exit his door for me give him a satisfying DB. But the CSR came, disconnected him, renamed his house and AFK Message... I had to smile and he even said he had given him a warning!
So when youre this stupid and acually greif Bounty Hunters this way you pay the "price" if the not to Jedi friendly CSR is around

well very easy fix for this.
Sat in a house for what 2 hours, it should log you off, or even better after a time it shoudl randomly kick you out of your house.
AFK was never ever intended for people to do anything, it was always a quick busy sign while you are on the phone or maybe even eating.
It doesn't suprise me that spammers and basicly just cowards exploited the bejesus out of it in no time.
The way mmorg's are now there's no exscuse for any type of AFK prolonged use now, a fix is long overdue, especially for jedi.
If you get visability becuase you want to speed up your "i'm a happy jedi master", you deserve to have it taken away.
Simple rules, straightforward consequences,

Normally you get booted after 30 mins, but macro's prevent this from working.
I completely disagree that you should get booted from your house, just an auto logoff should be enough and it is there.

NO I disagree a slide out of your house with the "something bad is about to happen" music from cape fear should be implemented for jedi, only on the BH side of things the music changes...
