No.
And here is why :
Pre-CU I could go off on my own with my CH/Ranger and explore, hunt, do my own thing. The rest of the time I could craft with my AS alt.
The CU has nerfed Ranger. The CU has nerfed pets. The CU has obliged us all to hunt in groups.
The CU has nerfed crafting, especially AS.

I like the idea of the CU, which was very needed however i absolutely hate the implementation of it. A number of things really bug me about it and i'll never be happy with them.
1) the icons are absolutely horrible. there is no technical reason why these need to be how they are. they could easily fix the problem with so many people hating them
a) offer a choice between the old and new icons, similar to how there is a choice between keymaps - whenever you change the option, the new icons are loaded into memory.
b) offer the choice to modify the icons in the same was as you can with macros. have all old and new icons available and people can pick their own to help them better remember which abilities are which
c) store the icon files locally, and read into memory when the game starts up. can be standard gif or bmp files, which can be edited to the tastes of the player, rather than the warped tastes of certain devs.
2) i hate the predictive combat - the way all hits are the same damage every single time. This results in heavily macro'd combat as you know in advance how much damage you will do, how much damage you'll take and when you will need to heal within the fight.
It can easily be fixed by generating the damage number between the min/max values, then applying themods for accuracy/defence, and armour/resistances.
i can't even begin to describe how much fun has been sucked out of the game for me because of this retarded damage calculation system.
3) the lack of a combat queue is annoying too. planning only 1 move in advance is really dull. i know they were trying to get away from people spamming attacks, but with the warmup/cooldown timers its no longer efficient to do that anymore anyway - no reason to remove the queue as well.
Those 3 (main) issues aside. I can understand why the CU was required due to the melee stacking, and balance issues between professions, and the fact that now all players can take 2 1/2 elite professions, or dabble between others is good. Other things like the removal of doc super-buffs that made you regen faster than a mob could damage you, armour that is not the best at every damage type are also good for the game. All of this could still have been achieved while still not forcing the 3 issues above onto us. And for that reason i hate the cu.

I still wish we could adjust our ham bars to have faster recharge on certain bars and maybe adjust how much max health, etc. we had. I felt more unique when we had the ability to modify our HAM bars.
