" In my review of the new CU update i do find some things that the Devs have genuinely made an effort to resolve for the betterment of the game. However, a game that offers a profession progression system is no system if there is really only a single profession to take if you want to be effective. Of course I am speaking of Jedi, as many, many have bemoaned. If you can play, and achieve a master status in it in less then a week, a profession that is second to none, then why play anything else? Why have a vast galaxy with variety in it if it means nothing? I have never seen so many freaking Jedi about the game now! Yet with all the Jedi the party line of the devs is that this game is to somewhat mirror the events in the movie. Really? I have seen all the movies hundreds of times and I do not recall Jedi running about killing all over the place. Must have consistently missed those scenes. "
This was taken from a post on the General Discussion Forum, and it just about sums up how I feel about the " CU " .

I miss the old system too a bit. I remember being able to take down players that had 2x the skills as me just because they made their mind pool incredibly small and I was a rifleman. So I would just pull out my fastest rifle and 2-3 shots and they were dead. Little more difficult after the CU. I wish they would find a way to combine the old system in with the new one. I liked certain aspects of the old system and I like certain aspects of the new one as well.

I think most BH's like the CU because, quite frankly, the profession is better now then it ever was.

I do indeed.
First, I like the mez specials. I like that we have snares and roots now. As far as Im concerned these are a kin to the BH traps we had been asking for.
Secondly, I like that Jedi no longer have an "I win" button with Saber block. Yes, Jedi are still very tough indeed with defender and heals, however, MLS with 85% saber block if you recall was a serious handicap.

Not quite....
BH was at it's best up to 5 months after launch. It has never been the same since, although I DO think it's more balanced then ever (without the Jedi exploits).

Good point. What I should of said is BH came out of the CU a lot better off then most professions.
And it does feel like we have more of a defined roll then before. Plus the more leftover skill points rock too !

you're all used to being solo GODS. Not needing groups to do stuff. DoTing people to death. Jedi everywhere you look. PRE CU whoo
BH's cry about everything. Dont listen to anything on their forum. BH's will continue to cry until they can get your missions, which makes you automaticaly teleport to their location in a root already with 1 health left. Then all they have to do is look at you and you automaticaly get DB'd.Bhs WHoo! Obi Wan: "I can't do this alone, I'm still not used to CU. I need your help. SHE needs your help. She only has 0/4/0/0 marksman and master politician

DoTs = Healable
ALOT more jedi now then there were before the CU
BH cry? hasnt changed has it now?
Solo gods? - thats how swg was and should of stayed, a game that doesnt require groups of people to do something.

The CU is ok, I do miss a lot from before, mainly I hate having to be in a group, and yes I know its how the game should be, but I would rather just kill stuff by myself.
