Thread: Now that Jedi heals are sucking up mind (8-10% per heal i hear) traumatize will be important

you do realize you could have run in any direction after being stuck..... the fact that you continued to chase people until you died is rather amusing. did it ever occur to you to make a tactical decision and go ahead and turn around and let them run off? then you could have gone into some water, curing the fire and then resumed and destroyed your opponent if he was so talentless that all he did was hit you once and then run in circles. i guess that would have made too much sense though eh?![]()
Yes your right, dots were not overpowered and fire dots in particular were nothing. Mind telling me the real reason dot weapons wereremoved and resist packs to dot attacks were added? You are seeing only what you want to see here not what people are saying.
I know of several of"Jedi hermits"...I feel that that is the way a Jedi should live. Call me what you wish my young Padawan Learner, It won't change a thing. If you choose to be a Jedi then you must deal with the perils of that lifestyle choice. If you are a Jedi and choose to POP-A-GLOW STICK in public, then you must deal with the consequences of your impatiants. I love killing Paddies the most for this reason. Know your role Paddy and don't cry foul when you get 2 million XP DEBT becuase you just had to "show off" in public. Now...If you will excuse me I have a GANK SQUAD to form in your name. ![]()

which to me says that this guy refused to acknowledge that he could have allowed the guy to run away and heal himself, thus making the fight a stalemate. it would appear that you in fact may be the one seeing what you want to see.
dot weapons were removed because too many people like these two posters refused to realize that they didn't have to beat everyone, also you could have picked up doctor to easily remedy your problem..........i mean on my server anyone who wanted to pvp knew they either needed doc or to be in a group in order to pvp, i guess everyone should be able to beat everyone regardless of skill level and thought put into your template and your group's templates

Whats funny is I'm full template, with positive xp and have NEVER in close to 18 months of being a jedi been killed by a BH. I dont show off in public but I hunt in the wild sometimes with friends sometimes solo. After Pub 19 I have a very low chance of winning, so why should I stay and fight?

I think it is honorable that you choose toremain low-profile while in Major Cities. I do not have a problem with your kind of Jedi. It is the show-offs that must be hunted to the point that it is no longer fun to play "padawan games" in Major Cities. I don't think it was notintendedfor Jedito be so bold as to conduct themselves in a manner thatquite frankly PI55ES OFF everyone around them. I find comfort in knowing that as a MBH, I am in a position to do somthing about it. So I watch those arrogant youngpaddies prancing around Theed, with their shiny new Glow-Sticks in hand and Icome to know who has been naughty and who has been nice. Who knows, I may decide to pay them a visit one fine day. This is why I became an MBH...![]()

Darn... devs made a typo. BH are supposed to be 1.5x greater than all professions, including Jedi.

I think its deeper than that, why should I stay and fight? I get nothing for fighting, no FRXp, no cash, no bonus, and added to that they have reduce my effectiveness in battle, so why stay and fight?

Yes... fun... it's so much fun to get negative exp and then decide to change templates. I'll run until they put us back at 1.5x more powerful than non-Jedi or remove exp loss. It is silly that you guys will be able to beat us one on one now. It's not going to come down to skill at all.... BH's will be able to heal better and faster than a Jedi and still be able to shell out the damage.

Hehe your still saying that Dots were nothing even though the devs and the rest of the player base could not wait to get rid of them as they were so overpowered. Believe me, even as a M Doc/TKM a CM was overpowered. Thats not what the thread is about of course I am just amazed at how you based your argument on something that was accepted as overpowered by the devs and 99% of the playerbase back then.

Well your point is a different one here, your issue is players that a preying on Loaders/Recuiters to gank them which is bad, but that is a PvP issue and should be addressed in a different way. The current Pub 19 problems are not going to fix these issue, Fred (The Jedi) will still stand cloaked and load gank players or people going overt at the recuiter then simply cloak away. My issues come with the fact that I'm now being placed in a situation where to fight almost becomes pointless, you can out heal my damage, you can outdamage me all I have is Force Run and Cloak/AI and I forsee them being used more and more as a simple escape option

Umm fun for who? the only person its going to be fun for is the BH, not many Jedi are going to be able to beat alot of templates at all anymore. only thing i think this may do is cause alot more 8 Man Jedi groups running around overt.
