I understand what you are saying Bastlaa..almost a lose lose situation. I think you guys should get something when defeating us..some reward..not sure what tho.
The other night I had a little taste of what its like to be hunted, and while it was thrilling(first time overt), maybe it might nowt be so fun when you are trying to grind and must run at the sight of any players.(plus SF can be optional), but I guess with power comes problems.
The reward used to be FRxp but with that turned off we don't get anything from fighting. Many ideas have been posted so I'm not going to post any needless to say standing my ground and fighting is really not worth anything to me. If I want to PvP I go to the recuiter and declare as I have chosen to fight, as a jedi I'm PvP enabled I understand this after 17+ months as a jedi. The reward used to be living, then it was no skill loss, now no xp loss. As a fully templated jedi xp loss means nothing but being someones content while I get none in return is not fun. When they turn the FRS back on then more Jedi will stand and fight as we will probably have something to fight for.

I dontbut playing PvE you still can get on terms damn NPC's even after I'm forced to kill them they still manage to radio in, that for they are using the WoW ghost walking method to inform Lord Vadar. All joking aside it is very hard to stay off the terms if you want to play Jedi as a Jedi not being able to hunt with friends is a real downer, the only option is not play my jedi but pickup my rifle to hunt with friends, whilst thats great and can be done playing a jedi is what I want to do and being hunted is all part of that, all I ask is balance.

IN fact I can see Cloak and Force run being in a lot of Jedi templates, as its simple you can't kill what you cant see or catch, might seem cowardly but its going to save a lot of paddies xp.
The last Jedi who tried that became a running flare/toxic cloud and was incaped after a short chase. If you think MCM are annoying right now, wait for Pub 19.
It is possible to be a Jedi hermit...Jedi shouldNOT be seen or heard in Major Cities.
Good Day Sir...Now if you will excuse me, I have a GANK SQUAD to form ![]()

Why is it that every time we actually get an intelligent and thought out discussion on the BH or jedi forums a someone like this pops up to ruin it. Get with the game mate.
The days of getting on the terms by lighting a saber in public are long gone, the current system of gaining meaningful xp for a padawan means getting on the terms.
Now if you will just get back to discussion the impact these changes will have on both profs and try to see how mutually benifical ideas can get to the devs.

I know it is possible, but are we not playing a MMO? I have leveled to 4444 Guardian, been revamped 3 times
and still I hear dont get on the terms. I'm happy to be hunted if the balance of power is fair, is it too much to ask for player professions that are positioned vs each other to be balanced?
It used to be you could bring numbers and we had a saber TEF, it was changed to be 5 on 1 (at best), now its still that system but we have been lowered to the abilities of a 1 on 1 class.
As for the CM concerns na not worried about them Force Run 2, Cloak, and Force Wave/Supression a CM is easy to escape from as is any profession. My concerns are not in escape its in balanced 1 on 1 combat

To be totally honest as soon as I see a BH now I will hit Force Run, or heal out the Root (or use Ai) then its cya, chase me over the entire planet if you want to, but with zero insentive to fight even with a completed template why should I stay?
This is why they never should have nerfed really good weapons . . . with force run around,a nice weaponwas really the only effective way to take out a jedi 1 on 1 before the jedieitherkilled the BH or ran to the nearest pool of water.

I think its deeper than that, why should I stay and fight? I get nothing for fighting, no FRXp, no cash, no bonus, and added to that they have reduce my effectiveness in battle, so why stay and fight?

Because it is fun? No that is silly it is more fun to run! lol
Yes... fun... it's so much fun to get negative exp and then decide to change templates. I'll run until they put us back at 1.5x more powerful than non-Jedi or remove exp loss. It is silly that you guys will be able to beat us one on one now. It's not going to come down to skill at all.... BH's will be able to heal better and faster than a Jedi and still be able to shell out the damage.
omg............
wow........
omg........
wait were you serious!? rofl, thanks i really needed that post![]()
lol so wait, you won't pvp a normal toon 1v1 unless you are the equivalent of 1.5 normal toons?! and then you have the gall to actually include the word "skill" in your post too.![]()

I really don't want to see DOT wh0res come back. I hated those suckers who were hitting u once with mind fire weapons and ran till you had 0 mind, or CM/riflemen who would throw area poisons and kited you untill you are down to no mind, and did quick Head Shot 3 and sniper shot.

you do realize you could have run in any direction after being stuck..... the fact that you continued to chase people until you died is rather amusing. did it ever occur to you to make a tactical decision and go ahead and turn around and let them run off? then you could have gone into some water, curing the fire and then resumed and destroyed your opponent if he was so talentless that all he did was hit you once and then run in circles. i guess that would have made too much sense though eh?
