Thread: Boss Marks
I have found all of the good ca's and aa's of non-boss marks. Boss' usually only give me bugs and clasps.
i have fought many bosses and drops were bad(bugs, smuggler stuff)
a level 76 elite gave me max dmg 183,-0.79spd,-7action cost power sell

You guys looking for boss marks? Follow me around for awhile. Almost all of mine are Boss marks and I can't even come close to dropping them.
Rock, paper, scissors... Not every template can beat every mark. What is your template, equipment, and strategy? Perhaps the community can help. Just remember, most advice is bias.

Might have nothing to do with your template... I would take a good look at your weapon, food use, and getting a high end PSG.
My BH' template is: MBH MRifles Pistol 0404 and was seriously displeased with Gold boss instances coming up with 25k HAM or more. It meant I needed backup to take down the mark, or nothing was doing. (You can have backup by the way... you might be the only guy able to shoot at the mark until the mark foolishly uses an AoE on you and your group, but in the interim your group could heal you.)
Taking a good look at my rifle I was shocked to see it had a SAC of 122 base. A little shopping around, I was able to get one with comparable damage and a SAC of 87 base. Picking up a few crates of SAC reducing Pups and I've had that down at 63. A world of difference that makes in how I eat through the action bar, and their health.
Another thing I've noticed is that while Recon armor suits me best for ranged standoff's with the marks, I had been doing this with a pretty poor PSG. Getting one up at the 1900ish rating had a significant effect on the damage I would take in.
The very last thing is looking around for food that suits your needs. Klisko swirl, Deuterium Pyro, and some Picatta Pie pretty much take care of my needs for most bosses. If things look like they might be hairy for a bit, I find Booster Blue occasionally worth it.
Funny thing is, making some minor changes in my food and weapon habits in particular had a significant effect for me. I am sure a lot of this is old news for many people, but up until the CU I had played primarily a Ranger/Swordsman and it's been a learning experience for me.
Good luck to you, you can take these marks down I'm fairly certain.
