No. There ARE 17kHAM boss targets (yes, gold, double chevron, they hit you as hard). Once in a while though, the boss targets might spawn as 35k HAM.

How do you tell that you have a boss mark? Is there supposed to be an indication on the mission terminal?
Sorry for the dumb question. I'm a recentlyrespecced, so I don't know what I'm doing yet. Thanks in advance.

you won't know it's a boss mark til your able to target the person your hunting.
there is no way to see if he's a boss mark on the terms otherwise whe would see an overload in uberloot

Uber loot? Uh, last time I heard boss marks were dropping crap for loot and only occasionally something good... If they changed it let me know man... Other wise, Boss marks tend to be the marks with only one name on the mission terms... Not that every one name mark is a Boss but I never had a Boss mark that had a first and last name.

I had some 36k HAM boss marks with both first and last names and single names. It's completely random as well as the loot. I killed a 36k boss few nights ago and got a clear crystal, a 15-20mil CA, and a stack of 5 reinforced casings. Granted this was a RARE occasion as alot of the loot I get from bosses isn't that good but I believe it is completely random.
But in answer to the OP's question: The way you tell if it's a boss mark is it will have double gold chevrons right next to his name. Kinda like this ----> <<Insert Boss Mark name here>>
Then when you hover your mouse pointer over his name it will tell you how much HAM he has. Some will have a 20k ham which are almost easier than elites, and some will have a 36k ham which are the toughest to kill. They are easy it just takes a while to kill them.

4 34k + ham boss marks over the weekend yielded 3 sets of power cells and 1 set of casings for me

got 2 missions of these 30k health plus marks. first one i fought beat me and then db. instant db at that. never had that happen. so i aborted and moved on.
18k marks been dropping slice loot and bh armor schems.
so then i get another 30k health mark incaps me and db's me again. so i am mad at this i almost had it to. so i call in a jedi friend to help me kill him cuase i want revenge and jedi can heal me faster since i do not have any medic.
so i kill this mark with her help and he dropped 2h ls 15 accuracy and rifle def 12 ca. and stack of 5 reinforce casing with 184dmg -.75speed and attack cost -7.
might be calling in more help on the 30k ers if tthey keep dropping good loot like that.

mbh mm mp 3xxx rifle.
what i am wondering is when did boss marks instant db. loot was good for the fight but this is the first time have been db by these boss marks. normally i take one incap get up heal and finish them off. guess devs made them smarter.

Dose anyone know a tip on how to pull just boss marks HAM 25K or higher. I havent pulled onein days off the terms in Kadaraa.

Well umm ive been pretty lucky i just get the highest payoffs i can get i usually hit refresh until I get 31200 or over, but I think its just a random thing though.

ran like 7 or8 missions today. got 1 boss mark who dropped smuggler crap. an elite dropped +16 rifle accuracy CA
