One of my accounts has a Master ID, so I have some experience. The interface they were using to do changes was atrocious & buggy. There were lots of gothcas. The new one is a lot better, but from what I've seen also buggy. Hopefully this will be remedied before its pushed to live, but going by past experience I doubt it will be.

I actually feel sorry for them getting the revamp in one way but in another they *are* getting some new stuff to play with. The sorry part is the stat migration change which, if you go check the ID forums, they generally *do not want*. It's basically been forced upon them. JustG has some comments about how this is for the best, blah, blah. There's also some confusion (no surprise there) of exactly how this works. This is SOE communication at its best my friends, and a beautiful sight it is to behold.

My understanding is players can still move the stat sliders around on a whim but the stats will not actually migrate until they go to one of the new static ID tents (which are only in certain non-player cities) and sit in front of an ID in session for 10 whole minutes. At that point the stats will instantly migrate. Sounds lame, eh? It is, but this is the new unique ID interdependence with other professions. You can probably guess the ill will this is going to create against IDs. Oh yes, and an ID cannot migrate stats for their own character, they have to get another ID to do that for them.

Also, the ID tent was desired in the form of a structure that could be built by players to be placed in player cities, similar to a merchant tent. So much for that!

Note: The change to stat migration was deliberatly withheld and not announced to the IDs for fear of community backlash (duh). Here's the quote as it sits in JustG's post in the ID forum:

"The stat-changes are a big issue, and we did not announce them beforehand. We chose not to announce because we anticipated a large, initial backlash, but ultimately felt that it was the best thing for the game." -JustG

If this mini-revamp for IDs is any indication, I hope they stay away from Ranger for a *long* time. Can you imagine how screwed up Ranger could become if what we ask for gets perverted the way the ID stuff did?

I can just see it now:

"We've changed it so that only Master Rangers can generate the biggest dynamic spawns, so if you want to go hunt Krayt dragons and such, go find a Ranger!"

Anything under 120k are pretty easy, between 120k and 180k they are mid level but progressivly harder, and above 200k you should bring friends.

They should--if you check the detail box on your character sheet, you will see the modifiers, and my FS speed (which is general melee) is listed there and added to my LS speed.

so this means u can get cloth attachments granted how rare that have general melee spd general lightsaber spd and say 2h lighsaber spd that is over 75 mods and u can do taht with accuracy too....all i can say is nice

yes i feared as much but i dont see why the dev's cant answer that simple question it can hurt can it though i do realize the dev's a busy and notoriouse for not answering things lol but thank you for your reply
