Well...

If all of you are leaving, are you going to continue to play other games or just sign off completely? If there was a SWG2, would you play it?

Okay, I was a BH and I feel pretty darn nerfed, but think of all the dancers and musicians. NO more BF? They are only good for buffing now, cantinas will be empty in no time.

BTW farenheit, dont call me a bigot for not being able to immerse myself in this game, you a$$hole

I'm still going to kick around. I'm not as worried about the Jedi/BH situation as I am about the general game issues. Just about every profession is broken or useless unless it deals with being a Jedi or BH (so, CM isn't useless, nor rifleman, etc.) yet they spend most of their time cottling these two professions.

I must say I'm getting very tired of seeing too many Jedi, and hunting is just purely borked right now. Also, the risk/reward and power for Jedi is WAY out of wack...

I'll stick it out for another 6 months likely. D&D is slated to be comingin the 3rd or 4th quarter of2005 (they'll lkely run over, but everyone does.) I would quit any MMORPG to play the REAL one. Not onlyhas the system been tested, tried, true, and balanced over the course of30+ years, but the game engine looks amazing! I think we can safely call that one a 4th generation MMORPG

I'm sticking around, but they'd better cater to the "Star Wars" as a whole, rather than giving us Jedi upon Jedi.

So sorry you will be leaving...

It sounds as if people such as your self have had a real positive impact on the game as a whole...I hope you change your mind. It would be a shame to leave all the long hard work you have put in to the game.

Overall its a lame game somehow I got addicted too, withobvious favoritism agendas, I really shouldn't be wasting my time when I should be doing things in real life.

If you cannot immerse your self in this game, and you blame jedi, you are the problem. Not the Jedi.

1) Nerfed by the CU - Annoyed

2) SWG destroyed by the NGE - Pisssed

3) Cancellation to nerf the dev's pay check, priceless!!

thats the worst logic i've ever heard. I'm leaving, and sooner or later every non-jedi will leave because if you like pvp, the only way to go is jedi. So I hope you enjoy the "starwars" universe SOE has created when every single player left is a jedi. The jedi profession isn't the problem, the fact that SOE has basically required you to become a jedi to be able to keep up, is the problem. Have fun in jedi galaxies, it wont be so fun when there arent any ranged professions left though.

Once this account expires, Im not touching any more games that have SOE anywhere near it. What SOE has done to SWG is like trying to trim your toe nails with a hack saw.

What about all other professions like Chef, DE, BE, Taylor, WS, AS, Dancer, Doc, SW,and every other profession that supports the game economy? Jedi can't do it alone.

Mostly, quality ... they just don't seem to care about it, either in the development of code or the provision of customer service.

Secondly, lack of vision ... there is no focus at the executive/managerial level of what they want this game to be, besides one that sells a lot of copies. Ironically, their very lack of focus will keep them from achieving that goal to nearly the extent they could have with the resources at their disposal.
