Reason why I became BH on my alt? Well, thats easy: Creating PvP when I want it, how I want it, which is a big privilege. Do I become angry at cloakers or runners? Nope, not at all, maybe a little annoyed, but I understand why they do it. Losing 3-4 hours of xp by a BH that used 30 minutes or lessto track you down, and kill you isnt fun.

if forced PVP isnt your thing .. dont ... play .. jedi ...
this is a time when jedi are hunted mercilessly ...

dude ...you dont need to be a jedi to be a PVE tank number ONE ..

numberTHREE being a jedi in this time period is EXTREMELY RARE AND EXTREMELY DIFFICULT ...
i wouldnt become a bounty hunter to roleplay a socially active ... "friends with everyone nice guy" whos all about helping the homeless .. and saving animals ..and despising the underworld would i? .well same goes for jedi .. you dont choose to be a jedi to roleplay a punk who runs around in broad daylight attacking kids in PVP and not have to fear bounty hunters showing up unexpectedly to kick your butt ... disrespecting players and talking trash about how uber you are.. like i said you dont like therole of jedi .. DONT PLAY ONE ...jedi are supposed to be quiet .. withdrawn ... secretive .. private .. and NOBLE .. even the dark jedi are supposed to be rare and hidden ...
now i dont have to be mean just cuz im a bounty hunter.. i do choose to respect all players and be nice to them .. but i still roleplay my profession .. well jedi can still have friends and be active ... but to a certain degree they also need tobe secretive.. stealthy..and realize they are being hunted ... and yes they dont have to be as noble as our jedi in the movies are ... but to a certain degree we should follow our proffession's personality types .. otherwise they werent meant for us ...
and the ONLY reason i have yet to go jedi .. is the fact its the most played outproffession ever ... it seems everyone is a wannabe jedi these days .. and everyone is hell bent on being " leet" or "uber"... well crap id rather play as an underdog, where each win REALLY means something and is something i can be proud of regardless of frequency ... im not about following trendyness and themasses ... i dont need to play a proffession whichcomes with bonuses to its power as if its players were handicapped ....

march 16, 2003. So yeah I've been a jedi for a very long time and have gone through it all...anyways point is, I've stopped playing my Jedi now personally b/c its really not that fun anymore for me. First and foremost...as MBH are kinda sick of the respec ones cause they did grind it all out (especially the really old-school ones...bleh I really respect you guys <--not sarcasm) I'm pissed that I ground out 24 professions to get my jedi...took a very long time, pretty much all of my money, only to get a Jedi that had a tef from anyone anytime I decide to pull out my saber and do anything. I really wish they would bring that back though...it was fun hehe.
I could go on and on..so much to say on this topic...but bottom line right now... Jedi is very easy to grind...no tefs...no visibility in groups...no more exp loss from pve deaths...god you all have it made. I cant even begin to imagine why you are all complaining...ohh no my saber sucks...so friggin what? deal with it, if you can't adapt, then you don't need to be in that profession, plain and simple. And as for saying well bounty hunters dont get exp loss...blah blah blah...who cares...its a regular elite profession. You know the risks when you take on the Jedi title...thats what really pisses me off to no end...Jedi who know what they are going into and then turn around and cry because its not what they expect

b) Visibility much easier to control.
c) If you dont have friends OR cant get into a group at MO then your social skill are suspect.
2: Pearls -
a) I agree it sucks that pearls arent dropping. Still baffled as to what the devs are up to with that decision.
b) Does that mean you cant have any? NO! I see them on the trade forums all the time.
c) Anyone that can read (forums) can afford Pearls if they want them.
I am not rich, but I'm not lazy either. I do whats needed to get the results I want. Hehe I'm reminded of when I see a nOOb spamming chat begging for cash. I would give him a tell giving him the location of a mission terminal! These new Jedi that whine are so spoiled already! I know its human nature to take things for granted but you actually are making your exp with Jedi fall very short. Which brings me to my last point.....
3: The Jedi Experience -
a) To unlock your Jedi you follow a series of quests and exp grinding laid out before hand to you.
b) You know when you are going to unlock.
c) Getting full temp takes less time, which ultimately means less BH deaths/exp debt.
The point being is I dont cry about how hard it was or whine because the new Jedi have it easier than I did. I only try to point out to the new Jedi that it is easier than it was and he shouldnt dismay!!! To tell the truth I'm proud of my experience with the Jedi grind. First of all I wouldnt trade the feeling I had after doing prof #26 smuggler and hitting the accept button for the master box like I had done soo many time before and falling out of my chair when I got the message and music! I think I /telled as well as phoned everyone I knew I was so happy!.Second the feeling of pride I have after having an Imp guild declare war on my Jedi and hunting me almost exclusively daily, and STILL making it to the knight trials in spite of the onslought. I was determined that nothing or noone would stop me!
You see back then I saw the Jedi system as a way to weed out the weak. I knew it would be a challenge and that if I could make it to knight then I knew I had what it took to BE Jedi. I never expected them to make it easier and easier. But as we near the next turn the devs take us on for good or bad plz remember that Jedi is CHOICE! And yes I believe if you pick and play your full template right you cannot be beat! So enjoy not only being Jedi the good things about it, but embrace the bad things in it as well. After all it is the bad things we go through in real life that give us CHARACTER. Ignore this if you are Dark Jedi.

Not the amount of pearls is the problem, but the quality. Yes, I have about 40 pearls/crystals. All of them tuned crap. And you say that anyone who browses the forums can afford flawless/premium pearls for 10-20 mils?
EDIT: oh and have you ever tried telling everyone in your group, around you, etc how vis works and why you don't want them? And there are still the npc spawns... Yes, I do have friends, but I can't say 'hey! you 7! come grind with me I need xp!' it doesn't work like that. They can help sometimes but not always when I want.

Premium pearls around 20 mil and flawless I stated 25 - 30 mil on forums.
If you really want the pearls you will have to work to get them. Loot is easier to get in game than it has been. Check my auctions the last 2 months. Ive made more money in 2 months than almost the whole time I have played, only because I wanted pearls. If that means grinding MBH to do it, so be it. Just saying its possible if your willing to work for it.
About visibility we were in the dark for so long thatmost Jediwould solo grind and still get vis and killed by BH's. Exp gain was so slow that a BH death plus the 200k debt for cloning and not being sure why you got visibility and I think you can see why you should be grateful rather than pointing out how Jedi have it hard LMAO!

I said I agree, jedi grind is a lot easier now. But it doesn't worth anything. And yes, I know I could work hard and get a lot of money to spend on pearls, but maybe I'm not one of those people who have nothing to do all day but playing this game.
This is getting ridiculous. I said Jedi is CHOICE and from what I'm hearing it isnt worth it to you so what is the problem? If you have a BH you can do a mission in 10 mins. 6 missions an hour. If you only have an hour you'll get at least one boss mark and if you get power cells or an attachment then you just made 5+ mil in just an hour. I made 12 mil on a LS acc CA I got off a boss. So you dont need alot of time to make money, just the patience to grind your second account into something that can fight good. But if you think Jedi isnt worth it, then you have your choice already made. And that as Yoda would tell you is why you fail.... I choose to succeed and you choose to abstain and/or even complain. Any more excuses you can make is your choice. it is late and I dont have the time to show you the way to succeed as it first comes down to attitude which I'm sorry to say for you is depressing. Maybe you just need to take a break from Jedi, we all have at one time or another, then when you come back you might be more optimistic and have the energy needed to succeed. Or maybe not, and thats ok too. But dont argue when people tell you they succeed.and try to help you to also.

Actually I play my BH all the time. Out of 10 missions I can complete 1. If I hunt NPCs they are mostly inside a house, a wall, or 9k out on endor. If I hunt jedi they always run away or are sitting in a house afk. Seriously, maybe I'm just so unlucky but the BH missions are VERY buggy (and I rarely get a boss mark actually).
